Exam Day & Time – JIPMER PG 2016 will be conducted on May 15, 2016. The exam will be of 3 hours duration from 09: 00 AM to 12:00 PM
Mode of JIPMER PG 2016 – Exam will be conducted in online mode only i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT)
Number of questions - The online question booklet of JIPMER PG 2016 will have 250 Multiple Choice Questions with single correct response. There will 100 questions from Basic Clinical Sciences and 150 from Clinical Sciences. All questions will be of one best / correct response type having four alternatives
JIPMER PG MD MS 2016 marking scheme –
4 (four) marks for each correct response
Negative Marking - 1(one) of the marks will be deducted for each incorrect response
Zero mark will be given for the questions not answered
Language of the Question Papers – The online question booklet given to candidates will be in English language

The result of JIPMER PG 2016 exam (July Session) will be declared on May 25, 2016. Candidates can check their result by entering their application number and date of birth. According to officials, JIPMER MD/MS 2016 result will be declared only for those candidates who will score the qualifying marks. As per the qualifying criteria, general candidates have to score a minimum of 50 percentile in the entrance exam irrespective of the category.
