Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for JIPMER PG 2020
Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act, must fulfill the specified eligibility criteria of JIPMER PG 2020. They are required to upload a copy of their OCI card at the time of filling the application form and should also furnish it during counseling. OCI candidates will only be considered under the unreserved category and their names will appear in the overall JIPMER PG 2020 merit list.
Foreign Nationals (FN) should have registered their MBBS degree in the medical council of their respective countries and should take permission from the Medical Council of India (MCI).
Candidates from SAARC countries will be given preference over other foreign nationals..
MD/MS course - Candidate must have an MBBS Degree or any other equivalent degree from the MCI or State Medical Council (SMC)
MDS course - Candidates must have a BDS degree or other equivalent degrees from the Dental Council of India (DCI) or State Dental Council (SDC)
As per the JIPMER PG/MDS eligibility criteria in the prospectus, applicants must have complete/completing their 12 months rotatory internship by June 30, 2020.
For admission to JIPMER PG 2020 candidates have to secure the minimum pass percentage as per the table given below:

Unreserved Candidates - All the candidates including OCI fall under the category of UR candidates.
OBC category - Candidates who apply under the OBC category must not belong to the creamy layer section of the same. Their certificate must be in the prescribed format as per the information brochure and should not be more than a year old as on the date of counseling.

Candidates who have completed MD/MS/MDS course from any institution
Candidates who are not able to secure the pass percentage as per the eligibility criteria of JIPMER PG.
