Karnataka MBBS Counselling 2019 - The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore, the regulatory body for Karnataka MBBS 2019 counselling has started option entry of Karnataka MBBS 2019 counselling for AYUSH casual round, seat matrix for the same has also been released. Links for the same are given below. The authority had released college nodal officer details for Karnataka MBBS counselling names list. A link for the same is given below. The authority had extended the last date of fee payment and reporting to the allotted college for Karnataka AYUSH counselling 2019, check the table below for the same. The authority has also invited fresh registrations for counselling of Karnataka BDS after lowering of cutoffs. Schedule for Karnataka BDS Counselling 2019 mop-up round released, check here

The counselling for Karnataka MBBS 2019 is held in online mode. Total three rounds of counselling will be held including a mop-up round. If there are seats vacant after the conclusion of three rounds, then there is provision for conducting an additional round of counselling to fill the remaining seats. After the verification of required documents, the candidates will be provided with a security key which has to be used to participate in the Karnataka MBBS 2019 counselling process by login to the applicant portal. Candidates are required to fill in their preferences as per their respective rank and category for Karnataka MBBS 2019 admission. The provisional list will bear the names of the verified candidates. Only the candidates whose name appear on the list will be considered eligible to participate in the Karnataka MBBS counselling 2019.

Karnataka MBBS 2019 counselling is conducted for 85% State Quota seats of Karnataka state which include 6577 (including 596 for NRI) seats in medical colleges and 2674 (including 383 for NRI) seats in dental colleges. The counselling of Karnataka MBBS 2019 starts after the seat matrix is published. Karnataka MBBS admissions 2019 will be taken on the merit-cum-preference basis. Karnataka MBBS counselling 2019 is conducted on the basis of NEET UG score.

Karnataka MBBS 2019 Counselling - Choice Entry (Round 1)

In the first round of counselling session, the aspirants are required to submit their choice if they wish to accept the allotted seat or not. In case if a candidate is allotted a seat then there are four options before them which are listed below.

  • Choice 1 - If the candidate is satisfied with the choices filled and are willing to report at the allotted college must opt for choice 1. The aspirant will be required to download the admission order and make the admission fee payment. After this the candidate will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of Karnataka MBBS 2019 counselling. If the candidate fails to report at the said college then the payed fee will be fortified and the admission will stand cancelled.

  • Choice 2 - Those candidates who are satisfied with the seat alloted yet want to participate in further rounds of counselling must opt for choice 2. The candidates, in such situation, will pay the admission fee but will be considered for the next round of counselling for Karnataka MBBS 2019. If a higher option is allotted in the next round then the earlier allotted seat will be cancelled automatically. If a higher option is not allotted then the earlier allotted seat remain in favour of the candidate.

  • Choice 3 - Candidates who are not satisfied with the allotted seat but are willing to participate in the next round of Karnataka MBBS counselling 2019. To opt for Choice 3, candidates will be required to cancel the allotted seat and re-order the already entered options.

  • Choice 4 - Candidates who are not satisfied and are not willing to continue with the counselling process.


Karnataka MBBS Counselling 2019 - cutoff

The cutoff rank will reflect the last NEET All India Rank which will be considered for admission in the first round of counselling. KEA will be releasing separate cutoff lists namely Government Quota - General, Government Quota - Hyd-Kar, and a combined list for Private, NRI & Others quota. The authorities will be releasing the final NEET cutoff 2019 Karnataka tentatively in the fourth week of August. It will be finalised after the conclusion of the last round of counselling. The cutoff will be released for 85% State Quota seats in the state of Karnataka, the remaining 15% seats will be transferred to the All India Quota.

Karnataka MBBS Counselling 2019 Procedure

  • Candidates are required to login with secret login key and password.

  • Candidates will have a list of Institutes displayed on the screen.

  • The options should be in the order given below-

    • College wise

    • Category wise

    • Course wise

    • Discipline wise

  • There will be no limit for entry of options.

  • The candidates will be required to put their final choices on the last day because these choices will be considered for all the rounds of counselling.

  • The candidates can take a print out of their final choices that they have made during Karnataka MBBS 2019 counselling.

  • A seat allotment list will be published after the first round of counselling gets over.

  • The candidates will be required to report at the allotted centre with their documents.

Karnataka MBBS Counselling 2019 - Documents Required

  • Application Form print out

  • Bank Challan copy

Karnataka MBBS Counselling 2019 - Result

After the completion of each round of Karnataka MBBS counselling 2019, a seat allotment list will be issued by the authorities. The result of second round counselling has been released on July 30, 2019. The Karnataka medical/dental second round allotment result will show candidates their Name, Claimed Category, Rank, Discipline, College allotted, Course allotted, Category allotted, Allotted date and the fee to be paid (comprising per annum tuition fee, University registration fee and KEA fees).

Karnataka MBBS Counselling 2019 - Highlights

  • The counselling of Karnataka MBBS 2019 will be conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

  • Counselling for Karnataka MBBS 2019 will begin after the release of provisional merit list.

  • The counselling of Karnataka MBBS 2019 will be conducted online.

  • The Karnataka MBBS admissions 2019 will be taken on merit-cum-preference basis, so the candidates will be asked to choose the institutes according to their NEET 2019 score.

  • Only those candidates whose name will appear in the verified list published after the document verification session will be eligible for Karnataka MBBS 2019 counselling.

  • A mock round of counselling will be conducted before the final option filling session to give the candidates an idea of the college they can get according to their merit.

  • The result of mock counselling will be published before the release of seat allotment list so that candidates can change their choices according to the result.

  • There will be three rounds of counselling and if the seats remain vacant then the vacant seats will be transferred to the respective colleges.

  • The option entered by the candidates before the first round of seat allotment remains same for the subsequent rounds of counselling.

NEET 2020 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.
  • NIOS and Private Candidates are also eligible

You cannot chamge the Name in the application form even during the correction window. You will have to re-register with new Email Id, Mobile no#, fill up the form again and make a new payment. Or before that please write to neetug-nta@nic.in. They will respond within 24-72 hours. Accordingly you can take a call.

If you have a transaction of thr reference no# for the payment, you are good. Please check if the payment also was deducted from the account you made the payment from. And the correction window opens from January 15th and you will receive any mails or notifications for corrections only during this period. Also try to recollect if you have received a confirmation page on the screen when you completed the application process.

Do not wear glasses while taking the pic please. NTA scrutiny has only gotten stricter and you do not want to miss out on any way on NEET because now there is no other entrance exam as back up.

Uploading of Photograph: Instructions

Must be latest passport picture in a white background with the Name of the candidate and date written on the photograph. The Size must be 50 Kb to 300 Kb and format should be JPG.

The focus has to be on the face with 80% coverage and ears clearly visible.

Uploading of Signature: Instructions

Candidates must sign with a black pen on a white background in JPG format with a file size of 4 Kb to 30 Kb

Uploading of Left hand thumb impression: Instructions:

The file size should be 10kb-50kb in JPG/JPEG format.

Class 10th Passing certificate: Instructions:

File size of 100kb to 400 kb in JPG/JPEG format.

Payment:
It is Rs. 1500 for General Category. EWS and NCL OBC have to pay Rs.1400 and Rs. 800 for SC/ST/PWD/TransGender and the Payments can be made through Debit/Credit Cards or Net banking OR offline through SBI Echallan to be paid in cash in the nearest SBI branch.
