cut off in neet pg medical Will be reduced in 2020

Hrisheekesh Singh 21st Feb, 2020

Hi Vinay,

It is very difficult to say that the NEET PG cutoff will be reduced in 2020. We can say that the cutoff with either increase or decrease.

These are the factors on which cutoff of NEET PG 2020 and almost every exam depends:-

  • Number of candidates appeared for exam

  • Difficulty level of exam

  • Total seats available

Now according to the official notification, the number of students appeared in NEET PG 2020 were 160888. In this 2019, this number was 143148.

According the facts, the number of students giving the exam have increased so, more competition would be there. This increased competition tends to increase cutoff this year as there is very less increase in number of seats and the exam was not very difficult.
