to study biotechnology engineer we must study jee or neet
To study biotechnology, you need JEE.NEET is not required for biotechnology. For B.Tech in biotechnology you need JEE scorecard, for admission in government and some private institutes. Most private institutes, however, conduct a separate examination or might even consider your 12th board result.
For example- UPTU conducts a separate exam for b.tech in biotechnology.
Hope it helps!

In neet 2019 , 68388 rank , 470 marks was required for general category for getting a government quota seat in Father Muller Institute of Med. Education & Research, Mangalore under karnatka state quota
But cut off marks keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.
So , you should try to get at least around 500 marks or rank of around 68000 to be on the safer side in your neet examination to get a government quota seat in Father Muller Institute of Med. Education & Research, Mangalore
