Kerala PG Medical 2015 Exam Pattern: The state level Kerala PG Medical 2015 entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted in paper pencil format on February  8, 2015. The exam will be conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala at several exam centers located in the following 3 cities Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kozhikode located in Kerala.

The entrance exam is conducted to offer admission for state quota of 226 seats in three years PG medical/dental course. According to information available in the year 2013 brochure, there were total of 514 seats in P.G. Degree courses in the Government Medical Colleges of the State.

Important Feature of Kerala PG Medical 2015 Exam Pattern

  • Candidates have to appear for two papers, each of 120 minutes. Paper I will consist of pre-clinical and para-clinical subjects and paper II will consist of clinical subjects.
  • The question paper will contain 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  • Questions will be covered from MBBS level syllabus. The below box mentions important topics and number of questions for both papers-

  • Each correct answer will lead to addition of four marks and each wrong answer will lead to no deduction marks
  • Marking more than one answer against a question will be considered as incorrect response and no marks to be deducted

To qualify the exam, candidates belonging from general and SC/ST category are required to secure minimum of 50% and 40% respectively in the entrance exam. For seat allotment, a merit list will be prepared by the exam conducting authority after the exam.

Hello,

To be able to to secure a seat in top colleges the neet PG score should be more than 450 marks  (for general category) varies  on basis of reservation.

Getting marks above 500 ,you will have a great chance to get into the college you need and you will be on safe side  if you score 550 and above

As the cutoff  rank in the year 2019 is 8222 for Ms General surgery.

Yearly the competition keeps on increasing,so the higher your score the more your chance to get a good govt.college.

The score depends on the years competition, difficulty of the paper.

Do tamil nadu have any seats for ex servicemen through neet pg

Hello,

There is no reservation for ex servicemen under AIQ. But some states offer reservations in the 85% quota allotted to states.

Note: Defense quota is not available in all states and also the percentage of reservation is not same in each state.

Tamilnadu does not have defense quota.

Further clarifications can be sought from state counselling authorities.

Going by previous All India cut offs and your rank, you may decent chances in Maharishi Markandeshwar Mullana University. Having said that, this is 2019 data and cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, difficulty of the exam, and no.of seats available for each specialisation.
