KNRUHS - The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) was established after the formation of the State of Telangana by adopting the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences Act on September 26, 2014. KNRUHS is headquartered at Warangal. KNRUHS has been established to have uniform policies of admissions, curriculum, examinations, and to encourage research in Health Sciences thereby achieving the goal of improvement of healthcare delivery to the people of Telangana State.

After the all necessary approvals obtained from the Medical Council of India (MCI), Dental Council of India (DCI), Central Council for Indian Medicine, Central Council of Homeopathy, and Indian Nursing Council, KNRUHS started functioning from the academic year 2016-17 from a small Kakatiya Medical College campus. Affiliated University under KNRUHS offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Super Specialty, Doctoral and Postdoctoral Courses in Allopathy (Modern Medicine), Dental Surgery, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Unani, Para-Medical Courses. As per now the total number of colleges affiliated to the KNRUHS is 163. KNRUHS - Admission form

As aforementioned the medical admission in the affiliated institutes of KNRUHS will be granted only on the basis of the medical entrance test, NEET UG and PG. In order to take medical admission in the state aspirants fulfilling the eligibility criteria and qualifying the exam have to fill the admission or application form within the specified dates by KNRUHS authorities. Steps to fill the UG/PG medical application form

• Visit the official website, knruhs.telangana.gov.in

• Aspirants will have to first register themselves by creating login credentials

• Aspirants will have to login in order to fill the application form, by using the login credentials

• Aspirants ave to enter their personal details such as name, father’s name, residential address, etc. and qualification details

• Then click on the declaration form

• At last, aspirants are required to pay the requisite application fee

KNRUHS - Merit list

The competent authorities KNRUHS releases the merit list for granting medical admission in online mode at its official website. After the release of the merit list, aspirants will be required to participate in the document verification process. Authorities will release the final merit list on the basis of which medical admission in the Telangana State will be granted.

The final merit list for medical UG admission will display details like candidate’s name, state merit rank, NEET roll number, domicile status, category, etc. However, the provisional merit list for medical PG admission contains details like names of candidates whose application forms are accepted and are eligible for the session of document verification, state merit rank which will be the basis for document verification. Candidates who are included in the state merit list will be called for participation in the counselling process.

KNRUHS - Cutoff

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, Warangal is the competent authority to release the cutoff for both UG and PG medical admission in the state. KNRUHS will release the NEET 2020 cutoff Telangana for only qualified aspirants. In order to take admission, the cutoff comprises the last rank and the equivalent scores obtained by the aspirants in the entrance exam.

KNRUHS - Counselling

KNRUHS is the competent authority to conduct counselling for granting admission to the medical and dental seats offered in the state for both UG and PG degrees. Authorities will conduct both the UG & PG counselling in online mode. It is mandatory for medical aspirants to secure a position in the merit list in order to be eligible for taking part in the process of counselling. Counseling will be conducted in three rounds which include first, second, and mop-up rounds.

Candidates will have to register themselves for the same by entering details like their choice of college and course in which they wish to get admission through counselling. Further, only on the basis of choices filled, availability of seats, state merit rank, and other determining factors, the authorities will grant medical admissions to candidates. In order to complete the admission process, aspirants will be required to report at the allotted institutes after the seat allocation.
