how many marks required for st. category students for mbbs in neet exam ?

Yash Dev Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2019
Hello student this year predicting the cut off is very difficult because lots of change happen in neet. Admission in AIIMS and JIPMER is also going through neet only. But scoring around 350to 400 may help you to get admission in government medical college.

Feel free to comment if you have any doubt
Good luck

Hey there! My friend got admission in 1st year but he want to live the college and prepare for NEET but college giving living certificate of that college which he was admitted.. So is it okay with that living certificate? He is from Reserved category and 10+2 subs was PCMB with 79%

Arpita Mandal 22nd Nov, 2019

Hello,

Sorry to inform you that college leaving certificate is necessary to take admission through NEET in any medical college.

You can request your college authority asking for college leaving certificate with an considerable reason, again, or take legal action, like complaining to the University to which your college is affiliated as no institute can bound the students by refusing to provide leaving certificate.

Good luck!

what reservation percentage for Obc non creamy layer in NEET EXAMINATION

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2019

OBC Category has a reservation of 27% in NEET. This is applicable for both All India Counselling and NEET Counselling. So as a Candidate belonging to OBC, you should secure a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology to qualify for NEET. And to be qualified in NEET, you should score atleast 40 percentile of top NEET score. That is the cut off. Now cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified in the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. In 2019, the cut off for OBC Category was 107-133.

i dropped my pu pcmb on 2017..! but now i am studying 2nd pu again.. my age is 20 right now..and i am st category student..what is the maximum age limit to write neet ? i want to become mbbs doctor..is this possible..?

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 22nd Nov, 2019

Shreedhar, there is no upper age limit for NEET. The Supreme Court has placed a Stay on the upper age limit order for NEET. If you belong to ST Category, you should complete your 12th with a minimum aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. If you fulfil this eligibility criteria, you are eligible for appearing in NEET. And yes, if you can score a minimum score of 500 , you can get a MBBS seat. It is possible to become a Doctor.
