No, Giving NEET is not required to get admission in forensic sciences. Colleges and Universities conduct their own entrance exam for admission in forensic science course.
So you need to stay updated about the entrance exam of the colleges that you are targetting for. I'm listing below a list of good colleges for forensic science in India
to get a degree in M.Sc Forensic science, you can have a B.Sc degree in any discipline. If you want to study further and get a P.hd or a M.Phil, you need to score atleast 60% in your M.Sc Forensic Science.
Thankyou, I hope it helps, feel free to approach for further queries
As per your requirement, i would say that other than mbbs and bds there are many parmamedical options available.
Paramedical courses are usually related to the allied healthcare sector. These courses are just as useful and job oriented as the courses directly related to the field of healthcare (nursing, medicine and pharmacy).
The 3 main types of paramedical courses available in India are –
Bachelor’s Degree courses or
Diploma courses or
Certificate courses .
The above mentioned Bachelor’s Degree courses are usually 3 years long. Some academic programs are 4 years long (theory + practical training).
Usually students who have passed 10+2 Science stream with Biology subject are eligible to pursue the above mentioned courses.
There are many courses available and you have to choose as per your interest.
In order to be eligible to write NEET exam your age should be 17 or above in the year the exam is conducted. By 31st December of that year your age should be 17 or above.
And you need to score 50% or above in bipc if your are from general category and above 40% in bipc if you are an OBC/ST/SC in your intermediate.
I hope this helps
