Manipal University Medical 2016 slot booking – The slot booking of Manipal University online entrance test 2016 has started on March 21, 2016. Candidates who have applied for MU OET Medical 2016 entrance exam can book their exam slot from the online window given below. The Manipal University 2016 slot booking can be done in three attempts through Online Test Booking System (OTBS). The Manipal University 2016 slot booking can be done by only those candidates who have submitted the MBBS/BDS application form of MU OET 2016.
The First and second attempt of Manipal University Medical 2016 slot booking is available from March 21 to March 28, 2016 whereas third attempt will be available from May 19 to May 20, 2016.
Candidates must have following documents at the time of MU OET Medical 2016 slot booking:
A photocopy of submitted MU OET 2016 application form
Online test booking password

Highlights of Manipal University 2016 Online Slot Booking:
Candidates must note that once slot is booked cannot be changed under any circumstances
In case of non-availability of Manipal University 2016slots in a centre of choice, candidates have to choose to book a slot in an alternate centre
If, for any reason, a test centre has to be cancelled, applicants opting for the cancelled centre will be allotted another centre. The admission office Manipal University will inform each applicant of their new centre well in advance
It is the responsibility of the candidates to book their MU OET Medical 2016 test schedule in online test booking system within the given time frame
A confirmation mail will be sent to the registered email address after the applicant has booked their schedule through the Manipal University 2016 Online Slot Booking
An applicant is allowed to take a second attempt if they will not be satisfied with their performance in the first test. The best of two scores in the entrance test will be considered for the merit list
Candidates who are appearing second time have to pay fee again for the MU OET Medical 2016 exam and book the available slot for the second test. The payment option for the second test will be enabled in the Online Test Booking System only after the applicant has taken the first test
It is decided to provide three MU OET Medical 2016 courses. The third attempt will be applicable only to those candidates who have taken first and second attempt of MU OET Medical 2016 exam
The applicant has to again pay the entrance test fee for the Online Test Booking System and book the available slot for the third test. The payment option for the third test will be enabled in the Manipal University Online Test Booking System only after the applicant has taken the second test
Manipal University Medical 2016 Slot booking will not be available for incomplete applications:
The incomplete application will not be processed. Candidate must note that note that the admission office Manipal University does not have the responsibility to inform such applicants and they will also not be able to access the Online Test Booking System.
Incomplete applications may be due to declaration not signed / left thumb impression not taken / course/s not mentioned / DD not enclosed / DD wrongly drawn / Internship date not mentioned / Photographs not affixed on the application etc.
MU OET Medical 2016 is a national level entrance exam conducted by Manipal University for admission to MBBS and BDS course in Kasturba Medical College located at Manipal and Mangalore.

From 2020-2021 session onwards, there shall be only one entrance exam for admission to MBBS course and that is NEET
Earlier, AIIMS and JIPMER used to conduct their own entrance test which no longer will take place now.
So, yes NEET will be the only entrance test conducted for admission to MBBS
Yes, you are eligible to write NEET from UP, even though you want to take admission in a college of Delhi. The admission is taken on the basis of your marks and rank, so it does not matter from which state you have given the exam. But you won't get the benefit of state quota.
