MGM CET 2015 Counselling - The Counselling of MGM CET 2015 was concluded on July 3 with the MBBS seat allotment of Round 1 in Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram. Allotment to MBBS seats for Maharashtra and Non- Maharashtra candidates were done strictly on the basis of candidate’s rank in MGM CET 2015 entrance exam. Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Health Sciences will release the second counselling schedule tentatively in the month of July, 2015 for the vacant MBBS seats (if any).

The counselling of MGM CET 2015 is scheduled to be conducted from July 1, 2015 to July 3, 2015. According to officials, MGM CET 2015 counselling will be conducted in offline mode and candidates have to attend the counselling session as per the dates mentioned. It must be noted that no separate intimation regarding MGM CET 2015 counselling will be sent. Therefore, all the successful candidates are advised to check updated information regarding MGM CET 2015 counselling from this article.

The MGM CET 2015 Counselling will be conducted for allotment of 250 MBBS seats in two constituent’s medical college of Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Health Sciences.

All qualified are eligible to participate in MGM CET 2015 counselling. The MBBS and BDs seats will allotted to candidates as per their rank and preference in MGM CET 2015 result.


Only candidates who have secured a minimum of 50% marks in the MGM CET will be considered for MGM CET 2015 counselling. The selection will be made as per merit cum preference of location of medical college given by the candidate. The allotment of MBBS seats will be done through candidates through personal appearance as per merit list and they will be called as per schedule for counseling. The candidates will have the right to choose any one of the available MBBS seats as per their rank and the same will be allotted to them.

Highlights of MGM CET 2015 Counselling:

  • Candidates without original certificates/documents will not be allowed to participate in the MGM CET 2015 counseling. Candidates who have deposited their original documents with Institute /Colleges/Universities and come for counseling with a certificate stating that “their original certificate are deposited with the Institute/College/University” may be considered by the competent authority and may be allowed to participate in counseling provided that student gives an undertaking that original certificate's will be submitted before the stipulated date

  • In case a candidate unable to appear for MGM CET 2015 counselling they can authorized representative who can participate the counselling process by filling and signing the authority letter. The authorized representative could be only blood relatives such as mother/father/elder brother/elder sister/elder sister in law/elder brother in law

  • Canvassing directly or indirectly any information for the allotment of seat would disqualify the candidate for MGM CET 2015 admission procedure

  • Candidate selected will not be allowed for change of college / Institute on mutual basis

  • In case of dispute In the matter of allotment of institution or any other matter pertaining to the provisional selection or cancellation of admission. The decision of the MGMIHS will be final and binding.

  • After selection in first / subsequent rounds if the candidate wants to retain the same College and does not want to take any other colleges then they have to do so by filing ‘Status Retention Form’ in a prescribed Performa. Status Retention Form is to be submitted to the MGMIHS through the College where they are admitted

  • To confirm the admission to MBBS course, candidate will have to deposit his/her tuition fee together with all relevant original certificates, documents on day of counseling

  • The candidate who does not appear on the date of counseling or reject the available seats at their rank as per their preference or do not join the college by the prescribed date for joining mentioned in the selection letter will forfeit the claim for a seat at constituent colleges of MGMIHS. The vacant seat will be filled by the next students as per the merit order

MGM CET 2015 Counselling Round 2:


According to officials, if the seats remain vacant after the first round of counselling the examination authority MGMIHS will issue notification for counselling round 2. The vacant seats will be filled as per the rank in MGM CET 2015 merit list. The candidate selected in first round of MGM CET 2015 counselling will be considered for second round only when they have not submitted Status Retention Form.


If the candidate offered admission as per their preferences in MGM CET 2015 counselling round 1 and if they refuse to accept admission then they will not be considered for next round of counseling.


The following candidates will not be eligible for subsequent MGM CET 2015 Counselling Round:

  • Accepting admission but not reporting to the College and / or not paying the fees in prescribed time

  • Reporting to the college but not attending the college regularly

  • Paying the fees but not attending the college

  • If the admission given by the Deemed University is cancelled by the Dean as a disciplinary action

  • Candidate absent in the earlier in Counseling Round 1 is not eligible for subsequent rounds of admission

  • Nationality / Domicile Certificate/Valid Passport Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate Migration Certificate (if applicable)

  • SSC (10th  Standard) Passing Certificate SSC (10th  Standard) Statement of Marks

  • HSC, CBSE, ICSE or equivalent examination – Statement of marks

  • Medical Fitness Certificate

  • Affidavit regarding educational gap (if applicable) Undertaking/ Declaration (Notarized)

  • 4 recent photographs (size: 3.5 x 4.5 cms)

  • DD for Tuition Fee in the name of 'MGM Institute of Health Sciences', payable at Mumbai

I am extremely sorry to tell you but you haven't mentioned the name of the college for which you are interested in knowing marks required in neet to get a seat, let me know it so that I can help you with relevant and detailed informations. But generally if you belong to general category then you need to  get at least 550 marks or more to get  a seat in government medical college.  If you want to get a seat in top colleges like Maulana Azad Medical College then you should target at least 600+ marks,  also cut off marks for Medical Colleges keeps changing depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc. So , prepare well for neet.

Dear Aspirant,

15 months are more than enough for you to get into your dream medical college. The most important thing you need is just be consistent throughout your journey. Prepare everyday and with a proper fixed time table.

You should also familiarize yourself with the syllabus and prepare with the pace which suits your need and do not depend upon your school's pace.

Then go through all the NCERT textbooks and if you can afford, then buy some coaching material or better you should join one coaching as it will help you with the consistency part.

For Physics, along with NCERT, study Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma and Objective Physics By DC Pandey.
For Chemistry-
  • NCERT chemistry text books for class 11 and 12
  • Practise books by VK Jaiswal (Inorganic), MS Chauhan (Organic) and N Awasthi (Physical)

For biology,
NCERT books, these will help you to clear the basics. You can also study Objective Biology by Dinesh, Biology Vol1 and Vol2 by Trueman.


neet registration date 2020 will start when

NEET 2020 will be held on May 3 in pen and paper-based mode.
Registration for NEET 2020 will be started on December 2, 2019 and the last date is December 31, 2019. And also te last date to submit the registration fee.
The correction window for the registered applications will be opened in January, 2020 (particular date not discloses yet).
