MMU MBBS BDS 2016 Counselling: Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU), Mullana, the counselling authority of MMU MBBS BDS 2016 admissions will conduct MMU MBBS BDS counselling 2016, tentatively, in the month of September, 2016. Candidates, who have participated in NEET 2016 Phase 1 or NEET Phase 2, will be called for counselling as per their ranks in NEET 2016 results, scheduled to be declared on or before August 17, 2016. According to the Supreme Court’s ruling on May 9, 2016, private and deemed medical universities will have to accept NEET 2016 scores for providing admissions to MBBS and BDS seats in their respective medical and dental colleges. The date and time of the MMU MBBS BDS 2016 counselling process will be notified to the candidates on its official website and in this article, as and when announced.
Highlights of MMU MBBS BDS 2016 Counselling Process:
Candidates will be called for counselling as per their ranks in the merit list declared in MMU MBBS BDS 2016 Merit List, which will be based on NEET 2016 results
Candidates whose names will be listed in the MMU MBBS BDS 2016 Merit List will have to appear in person for MMU MBBS BDS counselling 2016
The merit list declared by Maharishi Markandeshwar University (MMU),will consist of candidate’s name, rank, and total marks obtained in NEET 2016
Allotment of MBBS and BDS seats to candidates will be done in accordance with his/her rank on the merit list
The qualifying candidate will be allowed to prefer a college/institution of his/her choice
If a qualifying candidate does not choose college/institution/of his /her choice, then the candidate is allowed to exercise his/her choice at next counseling session
The qualifying candidate who will not be reporting for MMU MBBS BDS 2016 Counselling will not be considered for admission. His/her name will be included on waiting list in order of merit
MMU MBBS BDS Counselling 2016 will provide admissions to fill the total number of seats provided in the programmes. The number of MBBS and BDS Seats is provided in the table below:

Bhagya, if you fall in the Creamy Layer of OBC, then you have to select your Category as General Category while filling in the application form. But if you fall under Non creamy layer you have to select OBC. Now even if you belong to OBC-NCL but want to opt out of reservation, you can select General Category. But if you belong to OBC-NCL and you want to claim your reservation, you can change your Category during the correction window when it opens in January 2020.
The aadhaar card is not mandatory for the NEET exam 2020.

NEET is a National level Common Entrance test. While filling the NEET Application form, the photograph should be 20 to 200 KB of Size and the format should be JPG/JPEG only. The photograph should be clear and your face should be 80% covered and avoid using taking photo on Mobile.
