MU OET Medical 2016  has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016. Now, admission in all state-level and private medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET 2016 results only. Therefore, MBBS/BDS aspirants are advised to ignore the information given below on this page. MU OET Medical 2016 Eligibility – Candidates who are willing to pursue MBBS or BDS programmes for Manipal University are advised to read the eligibility criteria before applying the application form. Admission will be given to candidates in undergraduate medical programmes only on fulfilment of the MU OET Medical 2016 eligibility criteria as asked by examination authority. The application form is available to fill in an online mode from October 20, 2015.

Manipal Medical 2016 is a national level entrance exam conducted in a computer based format from April 11 to May 21, 2016. Candidates must go through the below mentioned eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.


Nationality: Candidates must be India nationals


Date of Birth: Must be born on or before December 31, 1999



  • Applicants must have appeared or appearing in 10+2 Examination from a recognized University or Board

  • The minimum score required in 10+2 is 50 % marks in Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Biotechnology and English taken together

  • For MBBS - Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together

  • For BDS - Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together 

Manipal Medical 2016 exam will be conducted in online mode as per the syllabus as prescribed by the examination authority. The online question booklet of MU OET Medical will have 200 multiple choice questions (MCQ) with single correct response from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General English. The exam will be conducted at various designated centres across India.
