Though the coaching institutes have raised doubts over the questions, the final decision on these doubtful questions will be taken by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). If CBSE accepts the mistakes, 4 bonus marks may be awarded to NEET 2016 Phase 2 examinees for each wrong question. However, the bonus marks would depend upon the decision of the expert committee, which could be constituted by CBSE. The exam authority is will release its own official answer keys for both the phase of NEET on August 7.

To help students we bring them a few possibilities under which CBSE might grant them bonus marks:

Possibility 1: The candidate has marked either one of the two correct options in question 67 of set A and its corresponding questions in the other sets. In this case, it might be either option A or option D, as per the coaching centres.

Possibility 2: The candidate has marked both the correct options in the question.

Possibility 3: While there is less possibility of this, but the CBSE might decide to grant 4 bonus marks to all candidates irrespective of whether they attempted the question to chose a wrong answer.

Possibility 4: In this case, the CBSE might delete the question altogether and calculate the scores against a total of 716 instead of 720.

Apart from this, CBSE might either consider the mistakes in questions 158 and 24 in set A and offer students bonus marks or delete these queries too to ensure equal weight.

How much Marks to score in Neet to get admission in this college

Aditya kumar Student Expert 13th Nov, 2019
Hello there!

Greetings!

I am extremely sorry to tell you but you haven't mentioned the name of the college for which you are interested in knowing marks required in neet to get a seat, let me know it so that I can help you with relevant and detailed informations. But generally if you belong to general category then you need to  get at least 550 marks or more to get  a seat in government medical college.  If you want to get a seat in top colleges like Maulana Azad Medical College then you should target at least 600+ marks,  also cut off marks for Medical Colleges keeps changing depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc. So , prepare well for neet.

Thankyou

How can I prepare for neet exam in 15 months

Rehan Alam Student Expert 13th Nov, 2019

Dear Aspirant,

15 months are more than enough for you to get into your dream medical college. The most important thing you need is just be consistent throughout your journey. Prepare everyday and with a proper fixed time table.

You should also familiarize yourself with the syllabus and prepare with the pace which suits your need and do not depend upon your school's pace.

Then go through all the NCERT textbooks and if you can afford, then buy some coaching material or better you should join one coaching as it will help you with the consistency part.

Hope this helps. Thank you.
