NEET 2018 Application Form correction guideNEET 2018 Application Form correction guide is a step-by-step tutorial to help candidates correct the mistakes committed in filling NEET application form 2018. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) opened one-time NEET UG 2018 application correction window on March 15, 2018, at 10.00 AM. The facility for making NEET application correction will remain open till 11.50 PM on March 17, 2018. Candidates should remember that this is their last chance to make corrections in NEET 2018 application forms since CBSE has already declared that it will not provide any second time NEET application form 2018 correction opportunity.

Only those candidates who successfully submitted NEET 2018 application form by March 12, 2018, and also paid the fee are allowed to make corrections during the correction window of NEET.

Candidates can make corrections only in certain fields of NEET 2018 application form which include identity card details, date of birth, gender, category, state of eligibility, category, medium of question paper, examination centre, qualifying exam code, percentage of marks secured in Class 12 and mother/father name. What can be corrected in NEET 2018 Application Form?

Can be edited by ALL candidates

  • State Code of Eligibility

  • Category

  • Disability Status

  • Medium of Question Paper

  • Examination Centre

  • Qualifying Exam Code

  • % scored in Class 12

  • Mother’s/Father’s Name

Can be edited ONLY by candidates who filled NEET application with ID (including Aadhaar Enrolment Number) other than Aadhaar Card

  • ID details

  • Date of Birth

  • Gender

Overview of NEET 2018 application form correction procedure

Step 1: Click on the link given below

Step 2: Login using candidate login credentials, i.e. Registration Number and Password

Step 3: Click on ‘Click here for corrections in NEET(UG)- 2018 Application’

Step 4: Make the desired corrections and click on ‘Preview and Submit’

Step 5: Enter the One-Time Password received on registered mobile number and email ID

Step 6: Take a printout of correction slip

How to make corrections in NEET 2018 application form?

Candidates can check below the step-by-step guide to know how to make corrections in NEET Application Form 2018 -

Step 1: Click on the link given above.

 

Step 2: Login using candidate login credentials (as shown in screenshot below). Enter the registration number and password created at the time of NEET registration and click on ‘Login’.

Step 3: Click on the link of ‘Click here for corrections in NEET(UG)- 2018 Application’ to begin the process of NEET 2018 application form correction (also shown in screenshot below).

Step 4: Make the desired corrections in permissible fields of NEET 2018 application form. After making the desired changes, click on ‘Preview and Submit’. See how the interface for NEET 2018 application form correction looks like from the screenshot below.

Step 5: Preview the changes. The corrections made in NEET application form will be indicated with the text written in red besides the field in which corrections would have been made. Now, Enter the One-Time Password received on registered mobile number and email ID and click on ‘Final Submit’ (as shown in screenshot below).

  • Upon clicking on ‘Final Submit’, candidates will receive a warning saying, ‘This is one time correction facility, No correction will be allowed after final submission’. Proceed by clicking on ‘Yes, please do’ if sure about the changes made in NEET 2018 application form. After this, CBSE will not allow candidates to make NEET application form 2018 correction in any of the fields. (See the screenshot of the message below).

Step 6: After submission of NEET 2018 application form correction, take the printout of NEET application correction slip. The correction slip will look like as shown in the screenshot below. To print the correction slip, click on the ‘click here to print this page’ link given in blue at the top left of the screen (see the screenshot).

  • After submitting the required corrections, if any additional fee is required to be paid due to the changes made in ‘category’, that will have to be submitted by through online mode before the last date and time of NEET 2018 application correction window availability, ie. till 11:50 PM on March 17, 2018.

  • Candidates can also take a printout of NEET 2018 application form correction slip by logging in to their candidate login accounts through the link given above and clicking on ‘Click here to take printout of correction slip’.

Candidates must remember that this is a one-time opportunity and no candidate will be allowed to make corrections after NEET 2018 application correction window is over or after a candidate has made the corrections in NEET 2018 application form once. Candidates should be very careful while making corrections.

NEET 2018 will be held on May 6, 2018 and the admit card of NEET 2018 will be released in the second week of April 2018.

It should be around 460 to 500.  Although it varies with your category, with college, with exam difficulty.

You should know the concepts to be able to solve questions.
It won't matter if you build those concepts from NCERT or some other books. Yet, at least once, you should go through it.

I mistakenly wrote mothers name instead of fathers name in neet application form..does it cause any problem in attending the examination.
