NEET 2019 Application Form correction guide is a step-wise procedure to help aspirants to correct/rectify the mistakes filled in the application form of NEET 2019. The conducting authority, National Testing Agency (NTA) will provide a facility to modify the incorrect details entered during online registrations from January 14 to 31, 2019. The authority has mailed to the registered candidates regarding the discrepancy in the uploaded passport size photograph or signature. The correct scanned images must be uploaded within a week of receiving the mail. Only students who will submit the application form before the stipulated time will be allowed to modify the details during the correction window facility of NEET. Candidates must ensure that the details to be filled in the form during NEET application form 2019 correction process should be correct, as this will be the last chance to make corrections in the application form. No second time NEET 2019 application form correction opportunity will be made available. Step 4Change the incorrect details in the form and click on 'preview and submit'
Step 5An OTP (One Time Password) will be send to the registered mobile number and email ID. Enter the received OTP number
Step 6Take a printout of correction slip from the button provided on the screen

How to correct the images in NEET application form?

NEET registered candidates have received an email from NTA related to the discrepancy in the passport size photograph and signature. The updations in the scanned images must be done within a week. Check the procedure to upload the correct passport size photograph or signature in the NEET application form 2019 below.

  • Click on the 'NEET candidate login' link provided above.
  • Login using the application number and password received at the time of registration.
  • An option to correct the photograph or signature will be provided on the screen.
  • Candidates have to upload the correct images as per the mentioned specifications.
  • Once the correction is done, an OTP will be sent to the registered mail address and mobile number.
  • A correction slip will be displayed on the screen and a printout must be taken for future references.

Step 1: Click on the link given above.

 

Step 2: Login using candidate login credentials (as shown in screenshot below). Enter the registration number and password created at the time of NEET registration and click on ‘Login’.

Step 3: Click on the link of ‘Click here for corrections in NEET(UG)- 2019 Application’ to begin the process of NEET 2019 application form correction, also shown in screenshot below.

Step 4: Make the desired corrections in permissible fields of NEET UG 2019 application form. After making the desired changes, click on ‘Preview and Submit’. See how the interface for previous year NEET application form correction looks like from the screenshot below.

Step 5: Preview the changes. The corrections made in NEET application form 2019 will be indicated with the text written in red besides the field in which corrections will be done. Now, enter the One-Time Password (OTP number) as received on registered mobile number and email ID and click on ‘Final Submit’.

  • Upon clicking on ‘Final Submit’, candidates will receive a warning saying, ‘This is one time correction facility, No correction will be allowed after final submission’. Proceed by clicking on ‘Yes, please do’ if aspirants are sure about the changes made in NEET UG application form 2019. After this, CBSE will not allow candidates to make NEET application form correction in any of the fields. (See the screenshot of the message below).

Step 6: After submission of NEET 2019 application form correction, take the printout of NEET application correction slip. The correction slip will look like as shown in the last year's screenshot below. To print the correction slip, click on the ‘click here to print this page’ link given in blue at the top left of the screen.

  • After submitting the required corrections, if any additional fee is required to be paid due to the changes made in ‘category’, that will have to be submitted by through online mode before the last date and time of NEET 2019 application correction window availability.

  • Candidates can also take a printout of NEET 2019 application form correction slip by logging in to their candidate login accounts through the link given above and clicking on ‘Click here to take printout of correction slip’.

It must be noted by aspirants that the correction window of NEET UG application form 2019 will be available for one time only. Any request for modifications/corrections after the closing of correction window will not be accepted. Therefore, candidates are advised to be careful while making corrections in the application form.

It must be noted that NEET 2019 will be conducted on May 5, in offline mode only. Only aspirants whose application form will be accepted by the authority will be issued NEET admit card 2019 from April 15, onwards.
