NEET 2020 Supreme Court latest news updates and decisions - Amid a hike in the cases of COVID-19 in the country, on September 5, a fresh plea regarding postponement of NEET 2020 was filed by 11 petitioners. Earlier on August 28 also, Chief Ministers of six opposition ruled states approached the Supreme Court demanding postponement of JEE Main and NEET 2020 and filed a review petition. As per the latest news on NEET 2020 Supreme Court decisions, the three fresh pleas regarding NEET postponement have been again dismissed by Supreme Court. Therefore, as per the latest SC updates, NEET 2020 will be held as per the schedule on September 13. The Supreme Court has already dismissed the earlier NEET postponement petitions. Recently on September 4, the court had dismissed the review petition filed by six opposition states.

Earlier the expectations from the National Testing Agency (NTA) to postpone conducting NEET 2020 on September 13 were increasing after the plea was filed on August 6. August 28, 2020: The opposition leaders had demanded to postpone the JEE NEET 2020 and jointly move to Supreme Court. The plea was filed by Chief Ministers of West Bengal, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Rajasthan and Maharashtra. The order to dismiss the plea was given out by SC.
August 17, 2020: By not putting careers of the students in jeopardy for long, SC has dismissed the petition filed to postpone the NEET exam again. In regard to that Justice Mishra said "Education should be opened up. COVID may continue for a year more. Are you going to wait for another year? Do you know what is the loss to the country? The peril to the students,".

August 13, 2020: In an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that it is not possible to provide exam centres abroad in Gulf countries for conduction of NEET 2020 exam.

June 26, 2020: HRD Minister thanks SC decision to not hold CBSE exam from July 1 to 15 through his twitter account. After his tweets, medical aspirants demanded to postpone NEET 2020 to a further date.
June 26, 2020: As per the Supreme Court hearing, the CBSE board exam results for both classes 10 and 12 will be declared by July 15. The result will be announced on an assessment basis.
June 25, 2020: The Center announced that the remaining examination of CBSE which was scheduled to be conducted between July 1 to 15 will not be conducted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As NTA was about to keep a close look over this decision and now it is highly expected that the authority will announce the new exam date of NEET 2020 soon.
June 23, 2020: Supreme Court's hearing on CBSE board exam postponement has been delayed till June 25, 2:00 PM, the authority is expected to postpone NEET 2020 and announce the new date after June 25. NTA is expected to take a decision on the NEET exam date 2020, after the Supreme Court judgment on CBSE board exams postponement due to Coronavirus.
June 15, 2020: As per the NEET 2020 latest news reports, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases, most of the aspirant’s parents and guardians are worried about the conduction of remaining CBSE and ICSE exams, which are scheduled from July 1, 2020. Such parents and students are demanding postponement of Class 10 and 12 entrance exams. A petition has also been filed by four parents in the Supreme Court requesting to cancel the board exams for prioritizing health over the exam.

No, there has been no update regarding release of Neet application form as of now
Neet 2021 application form will be released at its official website i. e ntaneet . nic . in , but the exact date for the release of neet application form has not been announced as of now.
There is delay in the release of your neet application form due to delayed events of neet 2020 like delayed counselling and also due to covid .
Your neet application form is expected to be released by the end of January or early february 2021, but these are mere expectations, so for exact dates we need to wait for the notification from NTA regarding the same.
Once, the application form gets released you will be able to fill it in online mode at the official website of neet i. e ntaneet . nic . in and for that you need to go through 5 steps i. e
*neet registration to generate your login credentials,
*then fill the form,
* and after that you need to go for uploading your documents,
* then pay the application fee
*and finally you should take the printout of confirmation page
And,
to be eligible for filling the form you should be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2021 and should be either appearing for 12th board 2021 or should have passed it with English and PCB with at least 50% in aggregate of PCB in case if you are from general or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB in case if you are from obc/sc or st category
Till the application form gets released you should continue your neet preparation, go well through the chapters , solve numericals and mcqs after finishing each chapter, follow a timetable to avoid wastage of time and once you are done with your neet syllabus focus on revision and then go through previous year question papers and mock test papers.

If I tell you about examination date, then
NEET examination is normally conducted on the 1st sunday of May every year, so considering that your neet 2021 examination is expected to be conducted on 2nd May 2021 .

There are also chances that your neet 2021 might be delayed due to covid. Also, now that CBSE board examination are going to start from 4th May chances of Neet examination to be delayed has increased , but this cannot be said with surety , so for now we need to wait for the notification from NTA regarding the same

If you want to go BSC nursing then no need to give NEET or EAMCET examination. Because for BSC nursing so many another entrance examination is held.

• SAAT examination

Any updates in neet 2021 registration?

As of now the official notification regarding the NEET UG entrance exam is not released. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will announce the schedule by the end of January, 2021. Until then NEET aspirants have to wait. It is expected that NTA will conduct NEET UG in the month of June or July tentatively as CBSE class 12th board exams are scheduled from May 4, 2021- June10, 2021. Please follow the news for updates but concentrate on your preparation. Once the notification is released aspiring candidates can apply in online mode and pay the fee.
