NEET 2020 Topper Interview: Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan (AIR 27) - National Testing Agency has released NEET 2020 result for UG on October 16. Along with the declaration of the result, NTA has also released the list of NEET toppers 2020. Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan has bagged AIR 27 securing 705 marks out of 720. He started preparing for NEET 2020 from 10th class and this is his first attempt. Careers360 interacted with him to know his preparation strategy, NEET best books and his lockdown experience. Careers360: Congratulations on your NEET result! What are your feelings on this achievement?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: Thank you. After checking NEET answer key 2020 I was quite sure that i will get a good rank in NEET 2020. I’m very happy on getting AIR 27.
Careers360: What motivated you to choose medicine as a career? When did you decide to become a doctor?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: My Parents motivated me a lot in my studies. I decided to pursue a career in the medical field when I was in class 10th.
Careers360: Is this your first attempt? When did you start your preparations for the NEET exam? How did you go about it?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: Yes, this is my first attempt. I started my preparations when I was in class 10th.
Careers360: How did you prepare for both your board exams and NEET?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: I was focussed on my NEET preparations more than NCERT from start to finish.
Careers360: The lockdown was announced in March and things changed. How did you prepare for NEET 2020 during COVID-19? How did it affect your preparation?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: I had completed my NEET 2020 preparations before lockdown. In lockdown phase I was focussed on my NEET 2020 revision only which helped me a lot to get AIR 27.
Careers360: Did you take any coaching for NEET 2020?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: Yes, I took coaching classes from Sri Chaitanya.
Careers360: What was your daily routine for NEET before lockdown and after? How much time did you devote to self-study because coaching can only teach you but you have to do the work?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: I wake up early daily and devote most of my time to my studies. My family helped me alot in that phase to keep me motivated.
Careers360: Which subject is your weak one and in which are you strong?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: Biology is my weak area while chemistry is my favorite subject.
Careers360: Which college is your dream college for studying medicine?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: My dream college is All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
Careers360: What would you suggest to future NEET aspirants in terms of preparation, attitude etc?
Shreeram Sai Shathavarthan: I just want to advise all aspirants to stay focussed on their goal. Complete NCERT books for NEET first then move to other study material.

what is neet 2021 syllabus , will it include reduced syllabus
Hello,
The NEET syllabus has not been reduced yet and Ministry of Education has issued a notification ruling out NEET 2021 syllabus reduction. However, unlike previous years, candidates will have given more options to answer the NEET 2021 questions.

As per the eligibilty criteria for NEET 2021 for SC category, candidate must have atleast 40% in 10+2 with PCB. So, you are eligible to write NEET 2021 exam but you need to work hard and score good marks in NEET so as to grab a good medical college in India. To know more, visit here:

No, there has been no update regarding release of Neet application form as of now
Neet 2021 application form will be released at its official website i. e ntaneet . nic . in , but the exact date for the release of neet application form has not been announced as of now.
There is delay in the release of your neet application form due to delayed events of neet 2020 like delayed counselling and also due to covid .
Your neet application form is expected to be released by the end of January or early february 2021, but these are mere expectations, so for exact dates we need to wait for the notification from NTA regarding the same.
Once, the application form gets released you will be able to fill it in online mode at the official website of neet i. e ntaneet . nic . in and for that you need to go through 5 steps i. e
*neet registration to generate your login credentials,
*then fill the form,
* and after that you need to go for uploading your documents,
* then pay the application fee
*and finally you should take the printout of confirmation page
And,
to be eligible for filling the form you should be at least 17 years old by 31st December 2021 and should be either appearing for 12th board 2021 or should have passed it with English and PCB with at least 50% in aggregate of PCB in case if you are from general or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB in case if you are from obc/sc or st category
Till the application form gets released you should continue your neet preparation, go well through the chapters , solve numericals and mcqs after finishing each chapter, follow a timetable to avoid wastage of time and once you are done with your neet syllabus focus on revision and then go through previous year question papers and mock test papers.

No, as of now neither Neet 2021 examination date nor Neet application form has been released
If I tell you about examination date, then
NEET examination is normally conducted on the 1st sunday of May every year, so considering that your neet 2021 examination is expected to be conducted on 2nd May 2021 .
But yes,
There are also chances that your neet 2021 might be delayed due to covid. Also, now that CBSE board examination are going to start from 4th May chances of Neet examination to be delayed has increased , but this cannot be said with surety , so for now we need to wait for the notification from NTA regarding the same

If you want to go BSC nursing then no need to give NEET or EAMCET examination. Because for BSC nursing so many another entrance examination is held.
• JIPMER examination
• AJEE examination
• SAAT examination
• AUAT examination
• DSAT examination
