March 27, 2020 (3:00 PM) - In a telephonic conversation, NTA helpdesk officials told that the NEET admit card will not be releasing on the said date. NTA might release NEET UG hall ticket after the lockdown. The official notice of Vineet Joshi on NEET admit card 2020 will be released either by today evening or by March 31. March 23, 2020 - Official announcement of MHRD Secretary Amit Khare on NEET not postoned, made a clear statement that the offline national level entrance exam will not be postponed.
Once the download NEET admit card 2020 is complete, details like name, father's name, roll number, application number, exam timing, exam centre details and more should be checked by candidates. Along with this, NEET 2020 admit card will also display the reporting time and guidelines to be followed on the NEET exam date. NEET exam will be conducted on May 3, across 155 cities in two national and nine regional languages which include, English, Hindi, Assamese, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Oriya, Bengali and Urdu. For NEET 2020, a total of 15,93,452 registrations have been received by NTA, of which, with 2,28,829 number of registered students Maharashtra has the highest number of applicants. Through NEET 2020 offline exam, candidates will be granted admission to 76,928 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 525 BVSc, 1205 AIIMS and 200 JIPMER seats. These seats will be offered by 532 medical, 313 dental, 910 AYUSH, 47 veterinary, 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER institutes of India.

In case if the application number of candidates is lost or forgotten, the following steps can be used to retrieve it.
Go to the official website of NTA NEET 2020
Click on ‘Forgot registration number’ link under current events
Submit the asked details like candidate’s name, name of parents, date of birth, category and security pin
NEET application number to download the admit card will be sent to the registered email ID
If the downloaded admit card is lost, candidates are advised not to panic and check their email ID. As per the official brochure, NTA will send NEET admit card 2020 PDF to the mail ID after the issuance date. You can download it and save it for future references.
If aspirants cannot download NEET (UG) 2020 admit card or in case of any discrepancy in hall ticket, they must immediately contact the helpline from March 27 to April 10, 2020. Such candidates will then be allowed to appear for NEET examination.

The admit card of NEET 2020 will include the exact address of test centre. NEET UG 2020 exam will be held in more than 2546 exam centres in 155 cities of India. In the NTA NEET admit card, the authority has also asked the parents to put their signature. The signature of parent on NEET 2020 admit card ensures that respective student will follow all the rules mentioned by NTA for NEET UG 2020, also that their wards will not be involved in any unfair activities. In the information brochure, NTA has also issued guidelines for the parents of the NEET 2020 aspirants so as to ensure that the candidates follow all the rules and regulations. Yes dear student AIIMS and JIPMER have been called off the shelves and like a these two bodies used to conduct their own entrance test for the students who wanted to get admission in Medical in MBBS or BDS. But they have combined in NEET only which will be conducted by NTA . This is the first time exam is going to be conducted like this but probably the possibility is that the cutoff will be higher in comparison to the past cutoffs of Neet. Candidates who have completed a period of 12 years under Higher/Secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which is equivalent to Class 10+2 can opt code 2. However, the last two years of study must include English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology or Mathematics or any other elective as a major subject as prescribed by the National Council of Education Research and Training (NCERT).
Aspirants who have passed 10+2 from National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or state open school, as a private candidate from state boards; with Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject can apply under NEET qualification code 2.
Who can also apply code 2: It should also be noted that the qualifying examination code for NEET 2020 for droppers will also be the same. For instance, a candidate has passed qualifying examination from CBSE/ISCE or any state board in the year 2018, but wish to appear for NEET 2020, he/she can apply for the exam with Code 2.

When two candidates get the same marks, then the issue is resolved using the tie breaker policy.
In case of NEET UG, the tie breaker policy gives more importance to Biology.
So, if A scores 300 in Bio and B scores 265 but their total score is same, then A is preferred.
Tie breaker policy doesn't include marks of Physics to resolve such issues.
Only Marks of Bio,Chem and then less number of incorrect answers and finally DOB are considered. (in the same order)
