To submit the NEET application form 2023, candidates will have to register, fill out the application form by entering personal details, choosing the question paper medium and exam cities, providing the details of educational qualifications, and upload the images and documents. To successfully submit the application form, it is mandatory to pay the fee as per the category.

What is NEET application form 2023 release date?

NTA has released NEET UG 2023 form on March 6. Eligible candidates will have to fill and submit the same on or before NEET form 2023 last date which is April 6. While filling out the application form for NEET UG 2023, candidates will have to upload a passport-size photo, left & right thumb and finger impressions, signature, postcard-size photograph, and other required documents. Steps to fill NEET application form 2023

A step-by-step guide to fill the NEET UG 2023 application form can be checked below. Candidates are advised to follow the NEET 2023 registration steps to avoid making any mistakes.

Step 1: NEET registration 2023

To fill neet.nta.nic.in application form 2023, candidates are required to click on 'fill application form'. On the new page, click on 'New registration' which will lead to the instructions page which must be read carefully. After reading the instructions, click on a declaration that instructions have been read.

During NEET-UG registration process, candidates will have to fill the below mentioned details. A password must also be created as per the given specifications which will be used for all future login. A provisional application number will be generated after registration for NEET 2023. This will be the user ID that will have to be used to neet.nta.nic.in login 2023.

The following details must be entered during to the fill NEET application form 2023:

• Candidate's Name

• Mother's Name

• Father's Name

• Date of Birth

• Gender

• Nationality

• State of Eligibility

• Category

• Person with Disabilities

• Identification Type

Choose password: In the next step, candidates will have to choose a password, retype the same, enter a security question, and choose the answer. Candidates are advised to keep the security question and answer safe as this may be required to retrieve the password in case a candidate forgets it.

To complete the NEET registration, candidates must verify the above details and submit them.

Generation of provisional application number: After the successful registration for NEET, the provisional application number will be displayed. This must be noted down as it is the NEET 2023 login ID for all future logins.

Particular checklist to be verified: Candidates need to verify all the details by clicking on each section. Aspirants will not be allowed to proceed without ticking on the particulars. Aspirants are advised to verify all the details carefully, as after submission, changes will not be allowed.

Step 2: Filling up the NEET 2023 application form

Once the registration process is complete, candidates will have to click on 'Complete Application Form' as shown in the image below. Aspirants will have to login using the provisional registration number and password. It is mandatory to fill in the remaining details in the application form of NEET 2023. The other details to be filled in the NEET online application form 2023 are:

Section 1. Personal details: Some details from registration will be auto displayed and these cannot be changed. However, many other details are to be filled in the NEET application form as follows

• Candidate’s name: Auto-generated from registration

• Mother’s and Father’s name: Auto-generated from registration

• Gender: Auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the application correction

• Category: Auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the correction

• Date of Birth: Auto-generated from registration

• Nationality: Auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the correction

• Persons with disability: Auto-generated from registration and cannot be changed during the correction

• Do you belong to the Minority Category?

• Are you suffering from Diabetes Type I?

Aadhaar details: Aspirants will have to enter their Aadhaar details while filling out the NEET form.

Section 2. Apply for: In this section, the entrance exam - NEET - will be filled in by default. Candidates will have to provide the following details:

• Medium of NEET question paper: The exam paper will be conducted in 13 languages namely, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

• Selection of NEET 2023 exam city: Candidates will have to choose four preferences of exam cities where the test will be conducted.

Section 3. Academic details (Class 12 or equivalent): Enter the following 10+2 qualifying details:

• Pass status

• Year of passing/appearing

• Qualifying exam code - To know about the NEET qualification code

Step 3: Uploading of scanned documents and images

After filling the details in the application form of NEET 2023, candidates will have to upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature as specified. Candidates need to click on 'upload documents'. The documents to be uploaded are detailed below.

• Passport photograph: It must be passport size with a white background having the name of the candidate and the date of photograph underneath the image. The size of the file can be 10 kb to 200 kb in JPEG format.

• Signature: This must be done with a black ink pen on white paper and should be scanned to a file with size 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG format.

• Left-hand thumb impression: Candidates must upload a digital image of the left-hand thumb impression on white paper with blue ink in JPG format and the size should be between 10 kb to 200 kb.

• Postcard size photo: Apart from the passport size photo, candidates are required to upload postcard size photographs in JPG format with size between 10 kb to 200 kb.

Step 4: NEET application fee payment

After the uploading of documents as per the specifications, the option to pay the NEET application fee 2023 will appear on the screen. Click on 'pay examination fee'. The application fee of NEET UG 2023 can be paid in online mode only. NEET application form 2023 fees varies for general, OBC/ST/SC, and EWS categories.

Online payment mode: Candidates can pay the NEET 2023 application fee through Debit/Credit/Net banking or Unified Payment Interface (UPI) using State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/ICICI Bank/HDFC Bank/Paytm service provider. Candidates must ensure that the Credit/Debit card used for payment is within the validity period. For net banking, it is advisable to check the balance of the account and keep all the credentials ready before logging on to submit the application form.

Note: Keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment safe till admission is complete.

Step 5: Printing the NEET acknowledgement receipt

• Once the application fee is paid, a confirmation page or acknowledgment receipt will be generated. This means that the application for NEET 2023 has been successfully submitted.

• A copy of the NEET acknowledgment or confirmation page will also be sent to the registered email as well as the mobile number of the candidates.

• Candidates are advised to save this acknowledgment receipt for future reference. They are also advised to take a printout of the same for reference.

How to retrieve password for the NEET application form 2023?

There are two methods of retrieving passwords. However, before going to that, there are a few steps they must follow.

NEET application form 2023: Image correction

NTA will inform all registered students about the image discrepancy which must be corrected before the NEET 2023 application form last date. Any modifications or corrections to the photograph/signature could be done using the login facility given by NTA or even with the correction window. Candidates will have to follow the below-mentioned steps to correct any discrepancies in their photograph or signature uploaded with the NEET form 2023.

• The option to upload the photograph/signature will be displayed on the screen

• After the given OTP number is entered, the NEET correction slip will be displayed on the screen

NEET admit card 2023

NEET 2023 admit card will be released at neet.nta.nic.in. It is mandatory for aspirants to download NEET 2023 admit card and carry it at the exam centre with relevant documents. Only the successfully registered candidates can download the admit card of NEET 2023 which will mention personal, exam details, date and time, exam centre name and address, photograph, signature, and other information.
