NEET 2020 Latest News and Updates - The HRD minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal on May 5 has announced NEET 2020 exam date which is July 26. The authority, on April 14, has extended the last date of the NEET application form correction window 2020 till May 3. Earlier, in view of the hardships faced by the candidates while making changes in NEET 2020 application form, the authority has re-opened the correction window facility from April 1 to 14. Due to massive Coronavirus (Covid-19), National Testing Agency on March 27, 2020 has postponed NEET 2020 examination which was earlier scheduled to be conducted on May 3. NEET 2020 admit card, which was also scheduled to be released on March 27, has also been postponed until the current Covid-19 situation gets better. The authorities have advised the students as well as the parents to be safe and dedicate their time into the preparation. Re-opens: NEET 2020 application form correction window available till May 31!
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) has been seen doing a lot of major changes in the field of medicine. The official brochure had been released on December 1, 2019, with some latest changes which can be checked below. The last date to fill application form has been extended up to January 6, 2020. While the official website, ntaneet.nic.in was updated on November 30, 2019. One of the major NEET 2020 latest news by MoHFW is the scrapping of AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS from the year 2020, and the conduction of a single medical UG entrance test, i.e., NEET 2020. This is being done under the effect of the National Medical Commission Bill (NMC) introduced this year.
Following the trends of previous years, NEET for the year 2020 was also scheduled to be held on the first Sunday of May, i.e., May 3. May 15, 2020- NTA has re-opened the NEET application form correction window from May 15 to 31, 2020 for all the registered candidates.
May 5, 2020- The HRD minster on a live session has announced the exam dates for NEET 2020 which is July 26.
April 14, 2020- NTA has extended the last date to avail the NEET 2020 application form correction window to May 3. The correction window was earlier available till April 14, however, after the extension of the lockdown announced by PM Narendra Modi, NTA too extended the last date for the registered candidates.
April 1, 2020- Due to the difficulties faced by the aspirants in making corrections in the NEET 2020 application form due to the COVID19 epidemic, NTA has re-opened the correction window facility from April 1 to 14.
March 27, 2020- NTA has postponed NEET 2020 examination as well as the release of the admit card of NEET 2020 till the due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. As per the official notice, NEET 2020 admit card will be released April 15, on the other hand, NEET 2020 exam has been postponed until further notice.
March 13, 2020- NTA has re-opened the facility of the NEET 2020 application form correction window for all the registered candidates. Jammu and Kashmir NEET 2020 aspirants can also avail the facility from ntaneet.nic.in.
February 17, 2020 - NTA has refunctioned its official website of NEET 2020. Till now no changes has been observed in the official NEET website. Any new changes will be notified on this page.
February 11, 2020 - The official website of NEET, i.e., ntaneet.nc.in has gone under maintenance. Candidates are advised to not panic and keep patience for it to start working again. Any change after the website starts working will be notified in the article above.
February 3, 2020- For already registered aspirants, NTA has re-opened the NEET application form till February 9. Registered candidates can complete the NEET 2020 application form within the due date.
January 31, 2020- NTA will re-opened the NEET application form 2020 processes from February 3 to 9 till 11:50 PM for the already registered applicants.
January 15, 2020- NTA has opened the NEET 2020 correction window on January 15, for students who have successfully registered. Aspirants can make changes in their application forms till January 31, 2020.
January 3, 2020 - The authorities have published notice regarding corrigendum in the State Medical Education and Directorates & Offices for the state of Tamil Nadu.
December 2, 2019 - The candidate login window for NEET UG 2020 has been opened. However, it has not been activated yet, due to unavailability of application form. NEET application form will be released on December 2, 2019, by 4:00 PM.

October 4, 2019 - Heretofore, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS was being conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi and JIPMER, Puducherry respectively. As apprised by MoHFW in NEET latest news and updates 2020, the national level entrance examination will be single medical entrance exam for undergraduate courses in the country, thus, AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS have been scrapped henceforth.
August 8, 2019 - President Ram Nath Kovind gave his approval to the NMC Bill by signing the same. The bill will come into full force within a period of three years, i.e., by 2021. Until now, NEET was being conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), but in lieu of the same NMC is going to be the new Medical Council for all admissions and queries in the field of medicine. Marks in Maths is not considered for Neet eligibility so yes you are eligible for Neet examination even if you have failed in maths provided you must have passed both the theory and practical of PCB , and needs to get at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) if you belong to general category , or 45% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to ph category or 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st.

Shakshi, your father's name doesn't affect the merit list and so your application or admission will not be rejected. What we would suggest you to do is to get an Affidavit done by an Advocate stating that both the names belong to your father only. By producing this Affidavit, you will be producing legal evidence and so your Application will not be rejected and you will not face any problems during admission and counselling.
neet ke admit card milne ki date aa gyi hai kya?
The exam date for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET is 26th July 2020 as declared by the NTA recently. The admit cards will be released 15 days prior to the examination, hence the tentative date for admit card release is 11th July for now.

Hello student you can appear in neet entrance examination as there's no upper age limit but you need to fill the eligibility criteria which says - Candidates must passed or appearing class 12 with physics chemistry and biology with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognized board.
