NEET MDS counselling 2020 - Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced NEET MDS 2020 counselling schedule for second round. As per the final schedule, the registration for counselling of NEET MDS 2020 round two will start from June 3 to 9. NEET MDS seat allotment list 2020 will be released on June 12 in PDF format. Only the candidates who have not been allotted seat in round one, opted to participate in subsequent rounds, resigned the allotted seat can eligible to apply for second round of NEET MDS counselling 2020. Earlier, the authority again extended the last date to resign the seat allotted in counselling of NEET MDS 2020. Shortlisted candidate can resign their seat of NEET MDS 2020 counselling till June 1, 5:00 PM. Such aspirants can either report at the allotted colleges or can send an email requesting for resignation after NEET MDS counselling 2020. The authorities had also postponed the first round of NEET MDS 2020 counselling on March 22, through an official notice. The notification mentioned that due the massive Covid-19 outbreak, the authority has extended the last of the counselling of NEET MDS 2020. The authority also released an advisory on March 24, 2020 for all states to postpone their 2020 PG counselling for now. The counselling of NEET MDS 2020 is conducted in online mode for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ), deemed, central universities and ESIC colleges. In order to participate for NEET MDS seat allotment 2020 process, aspirants must have qualified PG dental entrance test by securing minimum qualifying percentile. NEET MDS Cutoff 2020
It is mandatory for dental graduates to secure the minimum NEET MDS 2020 cutoff to qualify the entrance examination as specified by National Board of Examinations (NBE). Candidates securing minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible to participate for NEET MDS 2020 counselling. For general category aspirants, the cutoff of NEET MDS is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is the 40th percentile. NEET MDS Counselling 2020 for AIQ, Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC and AFMS
The final result of NEET MDS 2020 counselling round one has been declared on April 11. The seat allotment process for 50% All India Quota seats, deemed as well as central universities, ESIC and other colleges has begun from March 12, 2020. The choice filling and locking session has been started from March 17 and can choose their choice of colleges and specialties till March 22, 2020. NEET MDS 2020 AIQ counselling will be conducted in two rounds, while a mop-up round will be organised for deemed and central round. Once the counselling round for AIQ seats will be completed, the vacant seats left will be transferred to the state counselling authorities for allotment of remaining 50% state quota seats.
NEET MDS counselling 2020 procedure includes registration of candidates, filling and locking of preferences, declaration of result and reporting to the respective colleges for admission. The seats which remains vacant after every round of counselling will be filled through the subsequent rounds of counselling. The step-wise NEET MDS 2020 counselling is mentioned below:
Step 1 - Counselling registration
In the first step, aspirants can click on the link, which will be provided on this page, when released.
For registration, candidates have to select the stream (medical/dental), NEET MDS roll number, application number, name of candidate, date of birth, security pin and other asked details.
Also, aspirants need to provide remaining details, which must be completed successfully for completion of registration process.
Thereafter, the login credentials will appear on the screen which must be preserved until the completion of admission process.
Step 2 - Filling of personal details
In the next step of NEET MDS 2020 counselling, aspirants will be required to enter their personal details such as father and mother’s name, address, category and other details.
Candidates must fill the details carefully while filling the details, as the details once filled cannot be edited and the similar information filled here will be required at the time of document verification and admission.
Step 3 - Payment
The non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee must be paid by the candidates in online mode only through credit/debit cards and net banking.

Step 3 - Registration slip
After the successful payment of registration fee, the registration slip will be displayed on the screen.
A printout must be taken of the registration slip which will be useful for the further admission process.

Step 4 - Available choices
In the beginning of NEET MDS 2020 seat allotment process, the available choices will be displayed on the left-hand side of the screen.
Candidates who submitted the fees for 50% AIQ/central and deemed universities can fill the choices under every category of seats.
Step 5 - Filling and locking of preferences
For filling of preferences, candidates must click on ‘+’ button available with every option.
After the selection, the choice available on the left hand side will automatically shifts to the right hand side of the screen.
Once all the selections are done, candidates must click on ‘save and continue’ button to lock and continue with the process by clicking on ‘save and go to home page’ to exit.
While filling the choices, aspirants can move up and down and delete the choices. Also, they can drag a choice to change with others.
Note: It must be noted that if any aspirant forgets to lock the preferences, then options of colleges filled will be locked automatically.
Step 6 - Take a printout
For the future benefits, aspirants are advised to take at least three to four printouts of the preferences filled.
If anyone has not locked their choices filled, then also they can take printouts of the preferences once the locking process is over.
NEET MDS Seat Allotment 2020
Once the registration for counselling is completed, MCC releases the NEET MDS counselling result. The result is based on the NEET MDS merit rank, preferences filled and seats available. The result published in the form of a list including the name, allotted college, All India Rank, remarks (allotted/not allotted) and allotted as well as candidate category.
Students who will be allotted seat are required to download the allotment letter of NEET MDS 2020. The link to download the NEET MDS allotment letter 2020 has been provided on this page. The allotment letter mentions name of candidate, rank, college allotted and other details. It is mandatory to carry the allotment letter along with the list of documents at the allotted institute/college/university for admission process.
NEET MDS 2020 Counselling - Documents to be carried
Here is the list of documents which must be carried to the allotted institute/college/university for document verification and completion of admission process. Any candidate without any document will not be granted admission to MDS courses. Also, aspirants are advised to take the originals and a set of photocopies of all the required documents.

NEET MDS Counselling 2020 - Second round
The second round of NEET MDS 2020 counselling will be done after the completion of the first round and if any vacant seats left. The eligibility of candidates appearing for second round is listed below.
Who is eligible for NEET MDS second round counselling?
As per the notice released by the authority on April 13, all the candidates by default are eligible to participate in round two of NEET MDS 2020 counselling. However, the guidelines set by the authorities for the same are as follows:
- Those who do not wish to upgrade their seat which is allotted to them in round one should not fill fresh choices during Choice Filling of round two.
- Those who are not satisfied with their current allotment and want to upgrade their seat should fill fresh choices in round two choice filling.
NEET MDS 2020 Counselling for 50% State Quota seats
The seat allotment process of NEET MDS 2020 for remaining 50% state quota seats will be done by respective state counselling committees. The admission to MDS courses offered by 50% state government seats and all seats in private universities of the state will be done on the basis of NEET MDS merit rank released by NBE. Only candidates from Jammu and Kashmir will not be allowed to appear for AIQ seats and all seats will be granted by state counselling authority.
