NEET MDS counselling 2020 - Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts NEET MDS 2020 counselling in the second week of March. The official website of NEET MDS counselling mcc.nic.in is under maintenance, thus, the dates can be expected soon. The counselling of NEET MDS 2020 will be conducted in online mode for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ), deemed, central universities and ESIC colleges. In order to participate for NEET MDS seat allotment 2020 process, aspirants must have qualified PG dental entrance test by securing minimum qualifying percentile. It must be noted that NEET MDS counselling 2020 for 50% AIQ seats will be held for two rounds only. While a mop-up round of allotment for deemed/central universities and ESIC colleges.

For participation in NEET MDS counselling process, aspirants need to complete the online registration process for each round of allotment. For the registration process, they have to submit the asked details such as the application number, NEET MDS rank, scores obtained, education details among others. Also, candidates will be asked to provide their preferences of colleges as well as specialties. Based on these choices, NEET MDS 2020 rank, seats availability, reservation criteria and other factors, the seat allotment of NEET MDS will be done for admission to around 1326 seats under AIQ seats, deemed and central universities. January 15, 2020: NEET MDS 2020 result was announced in the form of PDF mentioning the roll number, marks scored (out of 960), NEET MDS ranks, qualifying status and cutoff.

NEET MDS Cutoff 2020

It is mandatory for dental graduates to secure the minimum NEET MDS 2020 cutoff to qualify the entrance examination as specified by National Board of Examinations (NBE). Candidates securing minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible to participate for NEET MDS 2020 counselling. For general category aspirants, the cutoff of NEET MDS is 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is the 40th percentile. The counselling of NEET MDS 2020 will be conducted for admission to MDS courses offered in the following:

  • 50% All India Quota seats

NEET MDS Counselling 2020 for AIQ, Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC and AFMS

The seat allotment process for 50% All India Quota seats, deemed as well as central universities, ESIC and other colleges will begin from the second week of March 2020. NEET MDS 2020 AIQ counselling will be conducted in two rounds, while a mop-up round will be organised for deemed and central round. Once the counselling round for AIQ seats will be completed, the vacant seats left will be transferred to the state counselling authorities for allotment of remaining 50% state quota seats.

NEET MDS counselling 2020 procedure includes registration of candidates, filling and locking of preferences, declaration of result and reporting to the respective colleges for admission. The seats which remains vacant after every round of counselling will be filled through the subsequent rounds of counselling. The step-wise NEET MDS 2020 counselling is mentioned below:

Step 1 - Counselling registration

  • In the first step, aspirants can click on the link, which will be provided on this page, when released.

  • For registration, candidates have to select the stream (medical/dental), NEET MDS roll number, application number, name of candidate, date of birth, security pin and other asked details.

  • Also, aspirants need to provide remaining details, which must be completed successfully for completion of registration process.

  • Thereafter, the login credentials will appear on the screen which must be preserved until the completion of admission process.

Step 2 - Filling of personal details

  • In the next step of NEET MDS 2020 counselling, aspirants will be required to enter their personal details such as father and mother’s name, address, category and other details.

  • Candidates must fill the details carefully while filling the details, as the details once filled cannot be edited and the similar information filled here will be required at the time of document verification and admission.

Step 3 - Payment

  • The non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee must be paid by the candidates in online mode only through credit/debit cards and net banking.

  • Check the refundable tuition fee and non-refundable registration fee from the table below.

Step 3 - Registration slip

  • After the successful payment of registration fee, the registration slip will be displayed on the screen.

  • A printout must be taken of the registration slip which will be useful for the further admission process.

  • Click on ‘login’ for the next step.

Step 4 - Available choices

  • In the beginning of NEET MDS 2020 seat allotment process, the available choices will be displayed on the left-hand side of the screen.

  • Candidates who submitted the fees for 50% AIQ/central and deemed universities can fill the choices under every category of seats.

Step 5 - Filling and locking of preferences

  • For filling of preferences, candidates must click on ‘+’ button available with every option.

  • After the selection, the choice available on the left hand side will automatically shifts to the right hand side of the screen.

  • Once all the selections are done, candidates must click on ‘save and continue’ button to lock and continue with the process by clicking on ‘save and go to home page’ to exit.

  • While filling the choices, aspirants can move up and down and delete the choices. Also, they can drag a choice to change with others.

Note: It must be noted that if any aspirant forgets to lock the preferences, then options of colleges filled will be locked automatically.

Step 6 - Take a printout

  • For the future benefits, aspirants are advised to take at least three to four printouts of the preferences filled.

  • If anyone has not locked their choices filled, then also they can take printouts of the preferences once the locking process is over.

NEET MDS Seat Allotment 2020

Once the registration for counselling is completed, MCC will release the NEET MDS counselling result. The result will be determined on the basis of NEET MDS merit rank, preferences filled and seats available. The result will be published in the form of a list including the name, allotted college, All India Rank, remarks (allotted/not allotted) and allotted as well as candidate category.

Students who will be allotted seat are required to download the allotment letter of NEET MDS 2020. The link to download NEET MDS allotment letter 2020 will be provided on this page, when released for each round. The allotment letter mentions name of candidate, rank, college allotted and other details. It is mandatory to carry the allotment letter along with the list of documents at the allotted institute/college/university for admission process.

NEET MDS 2020 Counselling - Documents to be carried

Here is the list of documents which must be carried to the allotted institute/college/university for document verification and completion of admission process. Any candidate without any document will not be granted admission to MDS courses. Also, aspirants are advised to take the originals and a set of photocopies of all the required documents.

  • NEET MDS result 2020

  • Mark sheets of BDS (1, 2 and 3 professional examinations)

  • NEET MDS 2020 admit card

  • BDS degree certificate or provisional certificate

  • Certificate for completion of internship from the head of the institute stating the candidate has completed the internship on or before March 31, 2020.

  • Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)

  • High school/Higher Secondary Certificate/Date of birth for birth proof

  • One identification proof - PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhaar Card

  • SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority in English or Hindi

  • OBC certificate issued by the authority. OBC candidates should not belong to creamy layer

  • Disability certificate issued by the medical board only

NEET MDS Counselling 2020 - Second round

The second round of NEET MDS 2020 counselling will be done after the completion of the first round and if any vacant seats left. The eligibility of candidates appearing for second round is listed below.

Who is eligible for NEET MDS second round counselling?

Group 1 - Registered candidates who have not been allotted any seat in round one

Group 2 - Applicants whose allotted seat got cancelled during the document verification round, who have secured seat under reserved quota due to change of category from reserved to unreserved or PH status from Yes to No are eligible to appear for counselling, provided they must fulfill the eligibility conditions

Group 3 - Aspirants who have reported and joined the allotted college in round one and willing to participate for the second round of NEET MDS counselling while filling ‘Yes’ in upgradation

Group 4 - Students who exited from counselling round one availing free exit and login in again for the second round of counselling

NEET MDS 2020 Counselling for 50% State Quota seats

The seat allotment process of NEET MDS 2020 for remaining 50% state quota seats will be done by respective state counselling committees. The admission to MDS courses offered by 50% state government seats and all seats in private universities of the state will be done on the basis of NEET MDS merit rank released by NBE. Only candidates from Jammu and Kashmir will not be allowed to appear for AIQ seats and all seats will be granted by state counselling authority. Question: Will NEET MDS counselling be conducted in offline mode? Do I have to report at the counselling venue?

Answer:

No, the entire counselling of NEET MDS 2020 will be conducted in online mode. The counselling including registration, choice filling and locking, seat allotment process and announcement of result will be done in online mode only.

Question: How many choices can I fill during counselling?

Answer:

A candidate can fill any number of choices they wish to. However, it must be ensured that the choices filled must be in order of their preference.

Question: If a candidate is not allotted any seat in the second round of counselling, then will the seat allotted in first round get cancelled?

Answer:

The seat allotted in the first round of NEET MDS counselling will not be cancelled. If any candidate will not be allotted seat in the second round, then the seat allotted in round one will be considered final.

Question: Will a candidate get any seat allotted, if he/she has not locked the preferences?

Answer:

In order to participate for counselling, aspirants need to register. Also, they need to fill their choices and lock it. However, if they have not locked the preferences, then the filled in choices will get locked automatically and considered as the final one.

How to register for AIC in neet mds 2020 & what are the dates?

Hi,

Well MCC is responsible for conducting All India counseling for UG and PG medical and dental.courses for 50% seats of all government medical colleges across India in PH category. As of now there is no official notification out regarding the dates of the counseling neither the counseling schedule is out yet. I would request you to wait a bit and keep on checking the website once or twice everyday to know when the schedule will be out.

Well the dates are not out yet by the MCC which is responsible for conducting the counseling for 50% seats of all government medical and dental colleges across India. Hence I would request you to check the website once everyday to keep yourself updated with any new notification being posted on the website.
