The NBE announced NEET MDS result 2023 on March 10, therefore, the board will now release the result cum merit list for 50% AIQ seats. NEET MDS counselling 2023 will be conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota (AIQ). deemed/central universities, ESIC and AFMS institutes. The counselling will be held for candidates who will qualify for the NEET MDS exam. To participate in the NEET MDS seat allotment process, aspirants need to complete the registration process. For NEET MDS 2023 counselling registration first round, candidates need to enter the application number, NEET MDS result, education and other details.
After registration for NEET MDS counselling, aspirants need to fill in their choices of colleges and specialities. Based on these choices filled, NEET MDS rank, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors, NEET MDS seat allotment will be done. NEET MDS 2023 counselling will be done for admission to around 1,326 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) seats under AIQ scheme. NEET MDS Cutoff 2023
It is mandatory for dental graduates to secure the minimum NEET MDS 2023 cutoff to qualify for the entrance examination as specified by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Candidates securing the minimum qualifying percentile will be eligible to participate in NEET MDS 2023 counselling. For general category aspirants, the cutoff of NEET MDS is the 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC candidates, it is the 40th percentile. The counselling of NEET MDS 2023 will be conducted for admission to MDS courses offered in the following:

NEET MDS Counselling 2023 for AIQ, Deemed/Central Universities, ESIC and AFMS
The seat allotment process for 50% All India Quota seats, deemed as well as central universities, ESIC and other colleges will be conducted in two rounds, while a mop-up round will be organised for deemed and central round. Once the counselling round for AIQ seats will be completed, the vacant seats left will be transferred to the state counselling authorities for allotment of the remaining 50% state quota seats.
NEET MDS counselling 2023 procedure includes registration of candidates, filling and locking of preferences, declaration of result and reporting to the respective colleges for admission. The seats which remain vacant after every round of counselling will be filled through the subsequent rounds of counselling. The step-wise NEET MDS 2023 counselling is mentioned below:
Step 1 - Counselling Registration
In the first step, aspirants can click on the link, which will be provided on this page.
Candidates will then have to select the stream (medical/dental), NEET MDS roll number, the application number, name of the candidate, date of birth, security pin and other asked details.
Also, aspirants need to provide the remaining details, which must be completed successfully for the completion of the registration process.
Thereafter, the login credentials will appear on the screen, which must be preserved until the completion of the admission process.
Step 2 - Filling out personal details
In the next step of NEET MDS 2023 counselling, aspirants will be required to enter their personal details such as father and mother’s name, address, category and other details.
Candidates must fill in the details carefully while filling the details, as the details once filled cannot be edited and similar information filled in here will be required at the time of document verification and admission.
Step 3 - Payment
The non-refundable registration fee and refundable tuition fee must be paid by the candidates in online mode only through credit/debit cards and net banking. Check the refundable tuition fee and non-refundable registration fee from the table below.

Step 3 - Registration slip
After the successful payment of the registration fee, the registration slip will be displayed on the screen. A printout must be taken of the registration slip which will be useful for the further admission process.

Step 4 - Available choices
In the beginning of the NEET MDS 2023 seat allotment process, the available choices will be displayed on the left-hand side of the screen.
Candidates who submitted the fees for 50% AIQ/central and deemed universities can fill the choices under every category of seats.
Step 5 - Filling and locking of preferences
For filling out preferences, candidates must click on the ‘+’ button available with every option.
After the selection, the choice available on the left-hand side will automatically shift to the right-hand side of the screen.
Once all the selections are done, candidates must click on the ‘save and continue’ button to lock and continue with the process by clicking on ‘save and go to home page’ to exit.
While filling in the choices, aspirants can move up and down and delete the choices. Also, they can drag a choice to change with others.
Note: It must be noted that if any aspirant forgets to lock the preferences, then the options of colleges filled will be locked automatically.
Step 6 - Take a printout
For future use, aspirants are advised to take at least three to four printouts of the preferences filled.
If anyone has not locked their choices filled, then also they can take printouts of the preferences once the locking process is over.
NEET MDS Seat Allotment 2023
Once the registration for counselling is completed, MCC releases the NEET MDS counselling result. The result is based on the NEET MDS merit rank, preferences filled and seats available. The NEET MDS result will be published in the form of a list including the name, allotted college, All India Rank, remarks (allotted/not allotted) and allotted as well as candidate category.
Students who will be allotted seats will be required to download the allotment letter of NEET MDS 2023. The allotment letter mentions the name of the candidate, rank, college allotted and other details. It is mandatory to carry the allotment letter along with the list of documents at the allotted institute/college/university for the admission process.

NEET MDS 2023 Counselling - Documents to be carried
Here is the list of documents which must be carried to the allotted institute/college/university for document verification and completion of the admission process. Any candidate without any documents will not be granted admission to MDS courses. Also, aspirants are advised to take the originals and a set of photocopies of all the required documents.

Certificate for completion of internship from the head of the institute stating the candidate has completed the internship on or before August 10, 2023
Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)
High school/Higher Secondary Certificate/Date of birth for birth proof
One identification proof - PAN card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhaar Card
SC/ST certificate issued by the competent authority in English or Hindi
OBC certificate issued by the authority. OBC candidates should not belong to the creamy layer

Who is eligible for NEET MDS second-round counselling?
The guidelines set by the authorities to be eligible for NEET MDS counselling round 2 are as follows:
Those who do not wish to upgrade their seat which is allotted to them in round one should not fill fresh choices during Choice Filling of round two.
Those who are not satisfied with their current allotment and want to upgrade their seat should fill fresh choices in round two choice filling.
NEET MDS 2023 Counselling for 50% State Quota seats
The seat allotment process of NEET MDS 2023 for the remaining 50% state quota seats will be done by respective state counselling committees. The admission to MDS courses offered by 50% state government seats and all seats in private universities of the state will be done on the basis of NEET MDS merit rank released by NBE. Each state will release their NEET MDS 2023 state counselling schedule after the announcement of results.

The domicile criteria for NEET in Haryana state that the candidate must be a bonafide resident of the state of Haryana, which means the candidate should have resided there for a minimum of 10 years and should have studied under any board, CBSE, HBSE, AICSE or Open Haryana Board.
Through NEET MDS 2022 scores, admission to 6,501 seats offered to 50% All India Quota seats, 50% state quota seats, deemed/central universities, ESIC, and private universities are granted.
To know your state rank, you need to register through your state counselling portal and the authority will release a state merit list accordingly.
