NEET MDS 2020 Important Dates – Highlights

Candidates can go through the important highlights of NEET MDS dates 2020 below.

NEET MDS application form date: The application form of NEET MDS 2020 was available from October 11, 2019. The eligible aspirants can register themselves till October 31, 2019.

NEET MDS admit card 2020 date: Only the registered applicants could download the NEET MDS 2020 admit card from December 13, 2019. It is mandatory to download the hall ticket within the stipulated time and carry at the exam centre.

NEET MDS exam date 2020: As mentioned above, the NEET MDS 2020 exam was held in online mode on December 20, 2019, for admission to Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses.

NEET MDS 2020 result date: NBE had announced the NEET MDS result 2020 on January 15 in the form of PDF. The result-cum-merit list will display the roll number of aspirants, scores obtained (out of 960) and qualifying status. The merit list of AIQ 50% seats has been released on February 18, 2020

NEET MDS Eligibility Criteria 2020

The BDS graduates who wish to apply for MDS entrance exam must fulfill the eligibility criteria of NEET MDS 2020 set by examination authority. The basic eligibility conditions which must be met by the candidates are mentioned below.

  • An applicant should be a citizen of India. Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Person of Indian Origin (PIOs) can also apply for NEET MDS admissions.
  • One must have passed BDS degree awarded by the university or institute in India recognised by Dental Council of India (DCI) with the approval of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW).
  • Candidates should possess a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by DCI or State Dental Council (SDC).
  • It is mandatory to complete 12 months internship on or before March 31, 2020.

According to the latest seat matrix of NEET MDS 2020, there are total 1326 seats under AIQ seats, deemed and central universities for admission. The entrance exam will be conducted for 6,228 seats offered in various dental colleges in the country.

neet mds score is 285 just one mark less cut of is i can get mds seat in tamil nadu under oc .pvt colleges is also good enough.

Hello Aspirant,

Neet mds is the entrance exam conducted for getting seat for good college for medical courses as you scored 285 marks out of 620 and 1  mark less than the cutoff an i think you maynot get seat in the private colleges in tamilnadu state as you are under oc category you have very less chances to get seat in the private medical college for the neet mds and if not you have to go under management quota but we should pay huge amount of fee for the college and if it is top college they charge large amount of fee better attempt entrance examination for the universities if you score good marks they may give you concession so study well and ALL THE BEST for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to you.

when will be revised cutoff score for neet mds be given?

Hi Krishnaja,

As per last year previous cutoff, it is high in starting of the counselling. It will revised because the seat was empty after the last round of counselling or it has been decreased due to vacant seat. So, if the situation occurs this year also, so after last round cutoff will be decreased.
