Top medical entrance test for undergraduate (UG)
NEET is the single medical entrance test for granting medical undergraduate admission in India. NEET will be the basis on which admission to 82,926 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc & AH seats across the nation. National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NEET exam 2020 on July 26 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in offline mode. From this year the admission to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will also be done through NEET scores.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate
National Board of Examinations (NBE) is the competent authority to conduct NEET PG for eligible aspirants in computer-based mode. On the basis of NEET PG 2020, admission to 19,953 MD, 10,821 MS, 1979 PG Diploma, 2256 DNB CET for around 6,102 (MS/MD/PG Diploma), 649 Hospitals (DNB) colleges or hospitals.
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry is the competent authority to conduct JIPMER PG entrance exam. JIPMER PG is conducted in January and July sessions for granting admission to Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses offered in Puducherry campus. The exam of JIPMER PG is conducted in computer-based mode.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is the competent authority to conduct the entrance exam of AIIMS PG for all registered aspirants. For granting admission to postgraduate courses like Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and MCh courses, AIIMS PG entrance exam is conducted at the national level.
The Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh is the competent authority to conduct PGIMER entrance exam. The entrance exam will be held in computer based mode, for granting admission to 295 seats to be filled in 20 specialties of Masters of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) courses.
