The admission to 950 MBBS and 150 BDS seats offered by medical and dental colleges will be granted through Odisha MBBS/BDS admission 2019 on the basis of scores obtained in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) exam. Only candidates who were able to meet the basic eligibility criteria appeared for admission to Odisha MBBS 2019 under 85% state quota seats. While, from all the government medical colleges, 15% seats are reserved for All India Quota aspirants. These 15% NEET AIQ seats will be filled by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) based on the NEET 2019 scores.

The authority has declared the result of mop-up round of Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling on August 5, 2019. The second round result was released on July 30. The choice filling for round one of counselling was conducted from July 2 to 3, 2019. Based on choices filled by the candidate and merit rank of the candidate, allotment of seats has been done. Aspirants who are allotted seats must report at the respective colleges for verification of documents and completion of Odisha MBBS/BDS admission process. The counselling of Odisha MBBS/BDS 2019 is being conducted by OJEE in online mode. The authority will organise two rounds of counselling, followed by a spot round; a final mop-up round may also be held in case there are vacant seats left. Students included in the merit list are being called for counselling as per their merit rank. In order to participate for Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling, aspirants had to fill their choices of colleges and courses, in which they wished to get admission into. Considering these choices, state merit rank and availability of seats, the admission will be granted.
The eligibility criteria of Odisha MBBS/BDS 2019 must be read by medical aspirants to check whether they can apply for Odisha MBBS 2019 admission. Go through the basic eligibility conditions mentioned below.
An applicant must have completed the age of 17 years as on December 31, 2019, and should be born on or before January 1, 2002.
Students should not be more than 25 years of age as on May 5, 2019.
For admission to Odisha MBBS admission 2019, candidates must be a permanent native of Odisha.
The children of All India Civil Services who are serving in the Odisha cadre will be eligible for MBBS and BDS admission.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and should have secured at least 50% as an aggregate as a general category. While SC/ST/OBC and PH aspirants must obtain an aggregate of 40% and 45% respectively in qualifying examination.
The minimum NEET cutoff 2019 percentile must be secured by applicants to be deemed eligible for Odisha MBBS & BDS admission.

Candidates who fulfills the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can fill the admission form of Odisha MBBS 2019. Aspirants must register themselves for both first and second round of counselling. During the process of filling Odisha MBBS 2019 application form, aspirants need to register online by selecting the course for admission and creating the Login ID and password. The login ID and password will be used to login to the application form to complete the remaining steps. Then, the basic details such as name, date of birth, category, mobile number, email ID, address and academic details like Class 12 or equivalent examination marks, NEET UG scores, All India Rank, category rank and other related details must be entered in the application form. The fee of Rs. 1000 must be deposited in the online mode by using debit/credit cards or net banking.

Since there is no OBC category in the state of Odisha, therefore candidates belonging to such category will be considered under general category for admission. However, the minimum cutoff will be 40 percentile as mentioned in NEET result 2019.
Candidates being admitted through Green Cards must be a permanent native of Odisha and must produce Green Cards of their parents issued by the state government. Student’s date of birth mentioned in that must be same as mentioned in HSC certificate.
