Odisha Medical Admissions 2015 Merit List- The admission merit list of Odisha Medical 2015 has been released on August 20, 2015. Odisha, one of the participating states in AIPMT 2015, has released the merit list for Odisha Medical 2015 on the basis of domicile candidate’s marks in AIPMT 2015 Results. The candidate who are domicile of Odisha and have qualified with the following marks in the AIPMT 2015 Result, are eligible for Counselling, Choice filling and locking for Odisha Medical Admission 2015 :

According to official notification, candidates who have qulaified AIPMT 2015 with the above mentioned marks are qualified to appear in the Odisha Medical 2015 Counselling procedure for allotment of MBBS and BDS seats in the medical and dental colleges of Odisha.


A per the official report of Medical Council of India (MCI), there are 679 MBBS and BDS seats available for Odisha Medical 2015 Admissions. Based on the Odisha Medical Admission 2015, Directorate of Medical and Education Training, Odisha, Bhubaneshwar will admit 85% seats in 8 Medical and Dental Colleges of Odisha. Rest of the 15% MBBS and BDS seats in the above mentioned colleges will be done on the basis of All India Quota of AIPMT 2015.


 Candidates will be called for Odisha Medical 2015 counselling according to their choice filling and locking in the online registration process of Odisha Medical 2015. The first round of Odisha Medical 2015 Counselling is scheduled to be held on September 06, 2015, followed by the second and third round on September 6,  2015 and September 16, 2015 for allotment of MBBS and BDS seats in 8 Medical and  Dental college of Odisha.

I am extremely sorry to tell you but you haven't mentioned the name of the college for which you are interested in knowing marks required in neet to get a seat, let me know it so that I can help you with relevant and detailed informations. But generally if you belong to general category then you need to  get at least 550 marks or more to get  a seat in government medical college.  If you want to get a seat in top colleges like Maulana Azad Medical College then you should target at least 600+ marks,  also cut off marks for Medical Colleges keeps changing depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc. So , prepare well for neet.


How can I prepare for neet exam in 15 months

Dear Aspirant,

15 months are more than enough for you to get into your dream medical college. The most important thing you need is just be consistent throughout your journey. Prepare everyday and with a proper fixed time table.

You should also familiarize yourself with the syllabus and prepare with the pace which suits your need and do not depend upon your school's pace.

Then go through all the NCERT textbooks and if you can afford, then buy some coaching material or better you should join one coaching as it will help you with the consistency part.

For Physics, along with NCERT, study Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma and Objective Physics By DC Pandey.
For Chemistry-
  • NCERT chemistry text books for class 11 and 12
  • Practise books by VK Jaiswal (Inorganic), MS Chauhan (Organic) and N Awasthi (Physical)

For biology,
NCERT books, these will help you to clear the basics. You can also study Objective Biology by Dinesh, Biology Vol1 and Vol2 by Trueman.


neet registration date 2020 will start when

NEET 2020 will be held on May 3 in pen and paper-based mode.
Registration for NEET 2020 will be started on December 2, 2019 and the last date is December 31, 2019. And also te last date to submit the registration fee.
The correction window for the registered applications will be opened in January, 2020 (particular date not discloses yet).

It is very tough to predict that from which chapter questions will be out of NCERT Books.Most of the questions are asked from NCERT books as of now nearly 85-90%. It is advised that you should study NCERT Book thoroughly as much as you can. It will be sufficiently helpful for you..
