PIMS Medical 2016 Merit List – The merit list of PIMS 2016 has been released on September 7, 2016 by Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences. PIMS Medical merit list 2016 based on NEET 2016 score for admission to 170 MBBS and 100 BDS seats in affiliated Medical and Dental College. PIMS Medical 2016 entrance exam has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016. Now, admission is done on the basis of PIMS Medical 2016 merit list based NEET 2016 score.
All candidates who are desirous to seek admission in MBBS and BDS programmes must have NEET 2016 score. Candidates who have appeared in NEET 2016 and have to fill the application form of PIMS 2016 admission. Candidates can participate in the counselling procedure of PIMS Medical 2016 as per the schedule alloted to their rank.

Yes. According to the new criteria all students who want to appear for MBBS have to appear for NEET and there will be no separate tests for AIIMS and JIPMER. Admission in both the Institutions will be on the baiss of NEET score only. So the news you have heard is absolutely true.
