Punjab MBBS Counselling 2019 - Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has released the list of vacant seats left after the second round of Punjab MBBS/BDS counselling 2019. The link to download the seat allotment vacant seats have been provided on this page. Candidates can use the link and know the number of seats left for admission. The authority had started the registration for mop-up round of Punjab BDS 2019 counselling. The eligible candidates were required to register themselves for Punjab MBBS/BDS seat allotment process till September 11, 2019 till 12:00 noon. The mop-up round was conducted on September 13, 2019, at 11:00 AM onwards at Auditorium of GGS Medical College, Faridkot. The authority published the round one result of counselling of Punjab MBBS 2019. The committee has started the online portal of Punjab MBBS 2019 seat allotment from August 27 to 28, 5:00 PM to provide the preferences of colleges. The counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted based on Punjab MBBS 2019 merit lists that will be prepared using NEET 2019 scores; so aspirants need to qualify NEET scoring prescribed cutoff marks. Punjab MBBS Counselling 2019

The counselling of Punjab MBBS 2019 will be conducted in two rounds - Round I has been conducted in online and Round II will be offline. Choice filling for the first round of Punjab MBBS counselling was re-opened for the candidates availing admission under micro-reservation category. The choice filling was open from July 11 to July 12 (up to 12 midnight). The result of the first seat allotment round was scheduled to be declared on July 16 which has been postponed due to an ongoing case of micro-reservations in the high court of Punjab & Haryana. A mop-up round will also be held if there are vacant seats left after completion of the two initial rounds of counselling. NEET 2019 qualified candidates who are listed in respective merit lists can participate in the counselling process to be considered for seat allotment. Some 900 medical and 970 dental seats will be offered through Punjab MBBS 2019 admission process.

Punjab MBBS 2019 Counselling Procedure

To participate in the counselling process of Punjab MBBS 2019, merit list candidates need to visit the official counselling website using and login using their applicant credentials. The candidate has to next exercise option entry, whereby they will be able to select their preferred colleges in the order of priority. It is recommended to select as many institutes as possible to maximize one’s chances of admission.

The allotment of seats will be based on both the Punjab MBBS 2019 merit rank of the candidate and also the choices opted. So, one must be careful when entering choices.

  • Pass certificate of Class 10 and 10+2

  • Mark sheets of Class 10 and 10+2

  • Matric (or Class 10 certificate) as proof of Date of Birth

  • NEET 2019 admit card

  • NEET 2019 result/score card

  • Printout of Online application/registration form

  • Domicile certificate

  • Character certificate

  • Category certificate, as applicable

  • Valid ID proof

  • Punjab residence certificate

Punjab MBBS Seat Allotment 2019

Admission officials will release Punjab MBBS 2019 seat allotment result for online counselling (Round I) on July 8. The allotment will be provisional in nature subject to verification of documents. The candidate will be able to check the seat allotment status by logging into their applicant accounts. Candidates who have been allotted seats will be issued provisional allotment letters. One has to download and take a printout of the allotment letter.

Important points related to Punjab MBBS 2019 provisional seat allotment

  • The allotment of seats is provisional in nature subject to verification of original documents by the allotted college.

  • Candidates who have been allotted seats during online counselling will have to download the allotment letter and take a printout.

  • Next the candidate has to report to the allotted college with original of relevant documents and also the printout of the allotment letter.

  • At time of reporting or joining, the candidate has to deposit Demand Draft of six months tuition fee. The DD should be drawn in favour of Registrar, BFUHS, Payable at Faridkot.

Greetings!

No your 10th marks is not taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination, it is your marks in class 12th which is taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination.

You can check the neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

  • You must have passed in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of
50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

  • To be eligible for Neet 2020 you need to be at least 17 years old or more by December 31st, 2020 .

  • There's no upper age limit for neet 2020.

  • There's no attempt limit for neet examination.

Code 07 says: Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.

Himanshu, if you are from Karnataka, your code will be 03. Code 03 says: The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.

But if you are not from Karnataka, your code will be 02. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

It will be 05. Code 05 says: The first year of the three years degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.

Amar you need to choose the code 07 as code 07 is for aspirants who have passed any other examination which in scope and standard is equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects .


You are eligible for neet examination only if you have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.
