Hi, I have passed 11th in 2013 and passed 12th in 2019, am i eligible for NEET

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 26th May, 2020

Venkatesh, there is no upper age limit for NEET. So as long as you fulfill the eligibility criteria which is completing your 12th, passing in all subjects and securing a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology you are eligible for NEET. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. If you uflfil this minimum aggregate criteria, you are eligible for NEET. There is the age criteria that says you should be 17 years atleast by December 31st of the year of admission and you do fulfil that criteria. So if you have secured the required aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology against your Category, then even with gap between your 11th and 12th, you are eligible for NEET.

may i know what is the cut off mark for neet 2020 to be seated in government medical college in tamil nadu for sc reservation category

batchasikkander17 26th May, 2020

Hi Pritham,

The cut-off mark for Neet 2020 will depend on total number of Neet aspirants appearing for exam, difficulty level of the exam and number of seats available. Only the candidates who will get the cut-off mark or higher will be eligible to get admission. To know about the previous year cut-off mark click on the below link.

i have two gracing marks in chemistry so am i eligible for neet my total marks of pcb 247 please give me a true guidance

Aditya Kumar Student Expert 25th May, 2020

It doesn't matter even if you have passed with 2 marks as grace marking in your chemistry what matters is that you have passed in your chemistry , so your grace marks are considered for neet eligibility , so you don't need to worry about it .

Now, your aggregate in PCB is 247 marks i.e 82 % which is greater than 50 % , so you are eligible for Neet Examination as to be eligible one needs at least a minimum of 50% marks taken together in PCB in class 12th board examination if  belongs to general category and you fulfil this criteria and thus you are eligible.

Thank you
