SAAT Medical 2016 Merit List – The merit list of SAAT 2016 will be based on NEET 2016 score. Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University will prepare SAAT Medical merit list 2016 based on NEET 2016 score for admission to MBBS programmes in affiliated Medical College. SAAT Medical 2016 entrance exam has been replaced by NEET 2016 as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016. Now, admission will be done on the basis of SAAT Medical 2016 merit list based NEET 2016 score.

SAAT Medical 2016 merit list will be announced by Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University in the month of August, 2016 (tentatively). All candidates who are desirous to seek admission in MBBS and BDS programmes have to appear in NEET 2016. Candidates who have appeared in NEET 2016 Phase 1 or will be appearing in NEET 2016 Phase 2, which is scheduled to be held on July 24, 2016 and have also fill the application form of SAAT 2016, will only be eligible to participate in the counselling procedure.

As per the NEET 2016 qualifying criteria for counselling, general category candidates have to score 50% while for OBC candidates have to score 45% in the entrance exam. The table given below shows the category wise qualifying marks in NEET 2016.

 Important Highlights of SAAT Medical 2016 Merit List:

  • The merit list will be released in the month of August, 2016

  • SAAT  Medical 2016 merit list will consist of candidate’s name, merit rank and total marks obtained

  • Candidates who had not filled SAAT  Medical 2016 application forms will not be considered for admission in MBBS programme

  • The allocation of MBBS seats will be done strictly on the basis of SAAT  Medical 2016 merit list

  • The schedule of SAAT  Medical 2016 Counselling will be released after the declaration of the merit list

ELIGIBILITY:

  • Indian Nationals, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and Foreign Nationals
  • No upper age limit as of now. The Candidate should be at least 17 years by December 31st of 2020
  • You should have completed your 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your Core Subjects.
  • 50% Aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST Candidates.

when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.

Yes , you can of course score 600 marks and above and yes right now you are in the path of preparation of neet so continuously increasing and improving marks should be a part of your journey. And if you keep up the hardwork and you will definitely score 600 marks as if you are getting 550 now , you still hace enough time for neet to take it to 600+ . You can make a time table,  give at least 8- 10 hours to self study.  Once you are done with your syllabus,  attempt full-length mock tests and focus more on weak topics. You can prepare short notes for revision as well.

Can we join any reputed coaching institute for 6 months for neet 2020?

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but there's no reputed Institute who provides 6 months course for neet preparation. For example, if i tell you about reputed institutes like Aakash and Allen Institutes then they don't provide admission for neet preparation just six months before neet. Similar is the case with other institutes , so there's no coaching institute which will provide you admission now just six months before,  you can go for self study.
