for the ELIGIBLity criteria of neet 2020 is there counting of only theory marks or both theory and practical?

Rehan Alam Student Expert 8th Apr, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Your both theory and practical marks are considered in NEET eligibility, out of the complete 300 marks you need minimum 150 for a general category student. Moreover, almost everywhere all your marks are considered and there is no separation of theory and practical marks.\

Hope this helps. Thank you.

I usually get 300-330 in aakash test series for neet.Is it good marks?

Rehan Alam Student Expert 8th Apr, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

No these are not good marks for NEET. It is assumed that at your current level you can get +/- 50/100 marks in the actual exam. Which means that you can get around 400 marks in NEET exam which is not sufficient. I suggest you should study with a plan now and analyse what you got wong and what part you do silly mistakes.

Improve upon them and try to get beyond 450 in test series. Hope this helps.

Thank you.

Mathematical knowledge is crucial or not to be a good doctor, without knowledge on maths and physics makes difficult to be aa doctor?

Sonali Sahu Student Expert 8th Apr, 2020

Mathematical Knowledge is important as physics and chemistry also has numerical modules and in NEET also, numericals are asked more over theory questions. Math paper is not considered as in life science PCB has high role than mathematics. Mathematics is mother- Science of all other stream. You can consider any stream, business or department. every where mathematics is used.

without knowledge you can't be doctor as they are important. it is not only use to clear entrance exam but those are implemented in real life to deal with problems.  candidates who clear NEET exam obviously have good maths knowledge even not asked in exam  and they study physics for years.

Hope it helps!
