Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 Counselling - The third round of Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2015 Counselling is scheduled to be held on September 26 and 27, 2015 in an offline mode at the Govt. Multispeciality Hospital, Omandurar Estate, Chennai. Candidates who had appeared in the first and second round of Counselling are eligible to appear in the third counselling round of Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 admissions.Candidates must note that 26 and 27 September, 2015 are bank holidays, therefore, candidates are requested to bring the Demand Draft (DD) of Rs. 500 (Processing Fee) and tuition fee ( 11,600, 13,600 and 25,000) accordingly.Without DD of Rs.500 (Processing Fees) candidates will not be permitted to attend the Counselling Process and without the DD of Tuition fees, candidates will not be allotted any seat.

The first round of Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 counselling concluded on June 25, 2015. The Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 seat allotment result has been declared by Directorate of Medical Education, Chennai. Candidates can check and download Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 seat allotment for first round from the link given below. According to officials, who have not received the allotment order till June 28, 2015 can collect it from Selection Committee, Kilpauk (Near KMC) from June 29 to July 2, 2015 between 10 AM to 5 PM.
Candidates are requested to collect their MBBS/BDS seat allotment orders immediately from Government Multi Speciality Hospital Omandurar Estate, Anna Salai Chennai 600002.

As per the official notification, candidates have to join the allotted medical or dental colleges on or before July 2, 2015. At the time of admission candidates have to submit tuition fee for Rs. 13600/11600/9600 according to their community /category/course. All the Deans of the Government and Self-financing Institutions are instructed by examination authority to accommodate candidates as early as possible (including Saturday & Sunday).
The counseling Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 has begun from June 19 to 25, 2015 for admission to MBBS and BDS seats in various medical and dental colleges of Tamil Nadu. The allotment of MBBS and BDS seats was done as per candidate’s rank in Tamil Nadu medical 2015 merit list and their preference as given at the time of counselling.

MBBS and BDS seats for Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 Counselling - 2172 MBBS seats in 19 Government Medical Colleges and 85 BDS seats in 1 Dental College of Tamil Nadu. There are thousands of medical and dental seats available in 31 Self Financing Medical/Dental Colleges, out of which 13 are medical and 18 are dental institutes. The exact number of MBB and BDS seats in Tamil Nadu Medical Colleges will be available at the time of counseling.
Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 Counselling – Reservation of seats
The selection will be made on merit basis and by counselling applying the rule of reservation by the Government of Tamil Nadu. The reservation criteria to be followed at the time counselling are given below:

Within 30% reservation for Backward Classes 3.5% will be provided for Muslims and 16% of seats out of the 18% quota reserved for Scheduled Caste, will be allocated to the Arunthathiyar Community.
Highlights of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2015 Counselling:
Tamil Nadu MBBS 2015 Call letters have been dispatched and intimation by SMS is also sent to the mobile number given by the candidates in their Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 application form. Candidates must be present two hours prior to commencement of counselling along with one of their parent as per their rank
Tamil Nadu MBBS 2015 Call letter can also be downloaded from the websites. Candidates will be permitted for counselling accordingly. Candidates, even if they do not receive the call letter, they can attend the counselling as per the date and time, mark mentioned in the schedule
It shall be the responsibility of the candidates who got revised marks in RV/RT to attend the counselling as per their revised mark mentioned in the schedule
If the candidate is absent for the counseling called for, they cannot attend the subsequent counselling
Candidate must carry Original Certificates at the time of Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 Counselling and same to be shown at the time of verification
Candidate should produce a Demand Draft for Rs. 500 drawn in favour of ‘Secretary, Selection Committee, Chennai – 10’ at the time of counselling being the counselling processing fee
Candidates can check the seats medical statistics from the website websites for daily vacancy position in Government MBBS and Government Quota in Self Financing MBBS and in Government BDS seats till the end of counselling
Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 Counselling for the Special Categories will be done before the General Category
Candidates attending counselling should produce two Demand Drafts one for Rs.500 (at Attendance Counter) and the second Demand Draft for tuition fees for respective category at Bank counter in the main hall after allotment is confirmed
Candidates can only opt for the medical seats available at their turn
The counselling for Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 will be conducted through Single Window System. Candidates can choose Medical or Dental colleges and course according to their choice at the time of counselling. Allotment will be based on availability of seats various Government and private medical institutions of Tamil Nadu
Option once exercised during Tamil Nadu Medical 2015 counselling will be final and cannot be changed
There will be no re-allotment / change of college allotted for the Special Category
Candidates who fail to attend the counselling at the specified date and time will forfeit their right to admission and their name will not be considered later. For due to unforeseen reasons, if a candidate could not attend the Counselling on the specified date and time then they can an attend on a subsequent time / date during that Counselling phase and will be allowed to take the course and college available at the time of Counselling when they actually attend the counselling
Candidates can nominate other person for appearing in counseling by filling the authorization letter as per the given format. If the candidate is absent during the counseling round 1 form then they will not be allowed to attend the Counselling phase 2
Candidates who obtained allotment to a particular medical college and course during the counselling of Tamil Nadu Medical 2015but do not join within the given time they will not be considered for admission after the due date
The vacancies due to not joined seats in State Quota or surrender of All India quota seats or newly sanctioned seats arising after the first phase of counselling will be filled by re-allotment as per merit and communal reservation for the already allotted and joined candidates. The unfilled seats after re-allotment will be filled up with the candidates in the wait list on the basis of merit and community reservation
Candidates who get allotment in Government Quota of Self Financing MBBS and if they do not join the amount of Rs. 25000 paid as Demand Draft will not be refunded

Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped.
