Eligibility Criteria for Tamil Nadu Medical 2014 Admission -

  • Candidate should be a Citizen of India
  • Overseas Citizens of India are eligible to apply for MBBS/BDS courses subject to the production of proof of Citizen of India registration

Nativity -

  • Candidate should be a Native of Tamil Nadu
  • Candidates who have studied from VIII to XII standards in schools in Tamil Nadu need not enclose the ‘Nativity Certificate’
  • Candidates who are native of Tamil Nadu but studied from VIII to XII standard either partly or completely in schools situated outside Tamil Nadu should produce the ‘Nativity Certificate’
  • The Certificate of Nativity in Tamil Nadu should be issued by the competent authority only in the specified format and supported by a copy of Passport/ Ration Card / Birth Certificate. If the copy of the supporting document is not produced, then the application form will be rejected. Nativity Certificate submitted later will be summarily rejected.
  • Permanent Residence Certificate will not be accepted
  • Nativity certificate should be produced as per instructions for Nativity Certificate
  • Producing false Nativity Certificate, if found later during the course of study will result in expulsion of the candidate and also initiation of criminal proceedings against the candidate as well as the parents as per provision of law

Age Limit -

  • Should have completed the age of 17 years on or before December 31, 2014

Educational Qualifications for Tamil Nadu Medical 2014 Admission -

  • Candidates should have passed in all the subjects of the qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu State Board /any other equivalent Board in one and the same attempt (Single Sitting) in the following group of subjects with the minimum eligible marks
  • Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology or Physics, Chemistry, Biology with any other subject
  • Candidates who have passed the HSC in the Vocational Stream and private candidates are not eligible to apply for Medical / Dental course
  • The selection and admission of candidates of other Universities / Boards will be provisional subject to recognition of the qualifying examination by the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University under which the candidate gets admitted. In case, the recognition is not accorded for the admission of the candidate on any ground, the provisional admission will not entitle the candidate for the continuance of the course and the admission will be cancelled

Minimum Eligibility Marks for Tamil Nadu Medical 2014 Admission -

Tamil Nadu 2014 MBBS Admission:

Other Communities: -

  • Minimum of 60% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together
  • Minimum of 60% marks in each of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry
  • Weighted aggregate of the percentage of marks should not be less than 140 out of 200 marks

Backward Class and Backward Class Muslim -

  • Minimum of 60% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together
  • Minimum of 60% marks in each of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry
  • Weighted aggregate of the percentage of marks in percentage of marks should not be less than 130 out of 200 marks

Most Backward Classes and Denotified Communities -

  • Minimum of 55% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together
  • Minimum of 55% marks in each of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry
  • Weighted aggregate of the percentage of marks should not be less than 120 out of 200 marks

Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Caste – Arunthathiyar, Scheduled Tribes -

  • Minimum of 40% marks in Biology or Botany and Zoology taken together
  • Minimum of 40% marks in each of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry
  • Weighted aggregate of the percentage of marks should not be less than 80 out of 200 marks

The candidates under Orthopaedically Physically Disabled Category –

  • Locomotory disability of Lower Limbs, OC / BC / BCM / MBC / DC should have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in above prescribed subjects taken together in the qualifying examination

 

Tamil Nadu Medical 2014 BDS Admission -

  • The candidates (OC / BC / BCM/ MBC/ DC ) should have obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Botany and Zoology taken together at the qualifying examination
  • Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Caste – Arunthathiyar and Scheduled Tribe the aggregate marks required for admission shall be 40%.
  • The candidates under Orthopaedically Physically Disabled category (OC / BC / BCM / MBC / DC) should have obtained not less than 45% of marks in the above prescribed subjects taken together at the qualifying examination

Important Note -

  • Only the Marks obtained in the science subjects in the HSC qualifying examination as a whole in the first appearance will alone be taken into consideration for the allotment of seats to the candidates
  • Candidates who have passed any other equivalent examinations in the first attempt with the same group of subjects mentioned above should produce the eligibility certificate from the Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University before admission to the course
  • In the case of candidates who have furnished the mark sheets of the qualifying examination, only in Grades, the minimum marks of the grades alone will be taken into consideration while determining the marks in the select Science subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany and Zoology
  • Candidates who have submitted mark sheets with Grades should obtain the statement of marks indicating the actual marks secured from the examination authority and attach a certified copy as an enclosure to the application
  • Normalization method will be adopted for calculating the minimum eligibility mark for the candidates who have passed any other equivalent examination

Greetings!

NEET PG 2020 will be conducted on January 5, 2020. Exact dates haven't been released but tentatively the application process of NEET PG 2020 will start in the first week of November 2019 , While students can fill their application form till fourth week of November 2019 . So, last date will be 4th week of November 2019.
In the application process, candidates have to register online , fill the application details, upload photograph and signature and make application fee payment.

As per NEET PG 2020 Eligibility Criteria,

candidate must have provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. that is to be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.


So, having a provisional certificate is also applicable.


In addition to the above criteria, candidates needs to have a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by MCI and have a degree or provisional certificate.Also, it's mandatory to have completed rotatory internship on or before 31st March, 2020.

If you are asking about neet pg, then photo requirements for neet pg application form is that"-
  • it should be a color one with white background only and at least 75% coverage of the face and head of the candidate, it should be passport-size, and not older than 6 months,
  • should be devoid of any border and the facial features and should be clearly visible,recently clicked,
  • Should be having the name of candidate ,date of capturing the photograph  imprinted at the bottom of the photo,
  • should be of 3.5*4.5 cm (width*height) in dimension and
  • the file size not more than 80 KB,printed on a high-quality paper with a resolution of at least 600 dp.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.
