Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2016 Result – The examination conducting body has declared the result and merit list of Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2016. The merit list consists of name of only those candidates who have scored qualifying marks in the entrance exam. In order to qualify the entrance test unreserved category candidates have to secure at least 50% marks while reserved Communities (BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST) have to score at least 40% of total marks.
Candidates can download the merit list of Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2016 from the link given below. The merit list consists of candidates name, rank, marks scored, community rank, etc. Based on the candidates marks obtained in the entrance exam the examination authority has prepared the rank wise merit list.

Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2016 Merit List:
The Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2016 Merit List has been drawn for a total mark of 100 by computing the entrance examination marks and the marks for experience which mean 90 marks for entrance examination + 10 marks for experience.
Year of service in hilly areas and two marks per year of service in Government Hospitals, Primary Health Centres and Government Medical College Hospitals of Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Amanathapuram Districts limited to a maximum of 10 marks. Altogether the total marks awarded for experience will be restricted to 10 marks to all candidates including candidates from rural, hilly and remote/difficult areas and the three districts mentioned above.
1) Marks awarded for Entrance examination: Maximum 90 marks
2) Experience marks for all candidates (both service and non-service) limited to a maximum of 10 ( i+ ii+ iii )
i) One mark per year for experience after CRRI (All candidates)
ii) Marks for candidates served in rural, hilly and remote/difficult areas -
Rural area – 1 mark per year
Hilly area – 2 marks per year
Remote/difficult area – 2 marks per year
iii) Two marks per year of Service for candidates who have worked in Government Hospitals, Primary Health Centres and Government Medical College Hospitals of Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Ramanathapuram Districts only Service candidates as per defined criteria
iv) Non-service candidates are not eligible to get marks as in (ii) & (iii). Fractional values of a year will not be counted for awarding marks for experience in i, ii & iii.
Determination of Inter-Se Merit:
The inter-se-merit of Tamil Nadu PG Dental 2016 will determine on the following criteria in the order of preference given below:
Marks obtained in the Entrance Examination
Least Number of appearances in the qualifying final BDS
Seniority in age will be given preference
Computerized Random Number assigned. Higher value of random number will be taken into consideration

As you have mentioned that you have secured 311 marks in neet pg. So your rank would be around 50000+. So, it seems difficult to get a government seat as the no of seats are less. Will Neet Pg 2021 be postponed?
As of now there is no news about postponing neet pg 2021. As per the official guidelines made by UGC neet pg 2021 exam will be conducted in first week of January 2021.Admit cards will be released in fourth week of December .Neet results will be declared in the fourth week of January.
