Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2016 Result – The result and merit list of Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2016 has been declared on February 15, 2016. Tamil Nadu PG medical 2016 result has been declared only for those candidates who have scored the qualifying marks in the entrance exam. As per the qualifying criteria, general/unreserved category candidates have to score 50% of the total marks while the other communities/ reserved communities (BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA and ST) have to score 40% of total marks.Based on the marks scored by candidates in the TN PG medical 2016, examination authority will prepare merit list of all qualified candidates. Based on the candidate’s rank in merit list allotment of as many 600 MD/MS/Diploma seats in government and self-financing medical colleges. The score card has been drawn for a total mark of 90 marks by computing the entrance examination marks.The result of 10 marks for experience will be announced later, with the declaration of merit list. There will be no rechecking / revaluation / retotaling of answer sheets. Answer keys will not be provided by the examination authority and no request will be entertained regarding to this.

How Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2016 result will be derived:
One mark for each completed year after the completion of CRRI will be awarded as marks for experience for both service and non-service candidates to a maximum of 10 marks as on March 31, 2016
Service candidates will be awarded, one mark per year of service in rural areas and two marks per year of service in hilly areas and two marks per year of service in Government Hospitals, Primary Health Centres and Government Medical College Hospitals of Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Ramanathapuram Districts limited to a maximum of 10 marks
Altogether the total marks of Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2016 awarded for experience will be restricted to 10 marks to all candidates including candidates from rural, hilly and remote/difficult areas and the three districts mentioned above.
1) Marks awarded for Entrance examination: Maximum 90 marks.
2) Experience marks for all candidates (both Service and Non-Service) limited to a maximum of 10
i) One mark per year for experience after CRRI (All candidates)
ii) Marks for Service candidates served in rural, hilly and remote/difficult areas: -
(a) Rural area 1 mark per year (b) Hilly area 2 marks per year (c) Remote/difficult area 2 marks per year
iii) Two marks per year of Service for candidates who have worked in Government Hospitals, Primary Health Centres and Government Medical College Hospitals of Thiruvarur, Nagapattinam and Ramanathapuram Districts.
iv) Non-Service candidates are not eligible to get marks in (ii) & (iii)
Determination of inter-se merit of candidates when more than one candidate secured same marks in Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2016 exam. The ranks of such candidates will be based on the following criteria in the order of preference given below:-
Marks obtained in Tamil Nadu PG Medical 2016 exam
Least Number of appearances in the qualifying Final MBBS Part II
Seniority in age will be given preference
Computerized Random Number assigned. Higher value of random number will be taken into consideration

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped. Dear Shyam, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG. You haven't mentioned your highest qualification. But for being eligible for NEET PG, you should have completed your MBBS along with 1 year mandatory rotational internship. You can check the complete eligibility criteria here:
Now regarding PCPNDT, if you are a registered practitioner, you can undertake this 6 months training. So, if you fulfil the NEET PG eligibility criteria, you can appear for NEET PG and your age shall not be any hindrance.
