UP PG medical admission 2020 - Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, the counselling authority of UP PG medical/dental 2020 has postponed the admission process of MD/MS/PG Diploma courses till further orders. In an official notice, the admission committee has notified that UP PG/MDS 2020 process has been rescheduled due to Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Also, it has been advised to keep a track on official websites for any updates on UP PG medical admissions 2020. Earlier, on March 23, 2020, the UP PG medical 2020 admission prospectus was released, which can be checked below. MBBS/BDS graduates will be granted admission to UP PG/MDS 2020 on the basis of marks obtained in NEET PG exam. Only aspirants who will secure minimum qualifying percentile in NEET PG 2020 will be eligible for UP PG medical admission 2020. The counselling committee will conduct UP PG medical/dental 2020 for admission to 891 MD/MS/PG Diploma and 32 MDS seats offered under 50% state quota seats in government colleges and seats available in private colleges of the state. In order to participate for UP PG medical admission 2020, the eligible candidates must fill the application form. UP PG medical application form 2020 can be filled in online mode and will be available from March 23 to 30. While filling UP PG/MDS application form 2020, aspirants need to enter their personal, domicile, qualification, internship, registration and other NEET PG details. Candidates must go through the basic eligibility conditions for UP PG medical/dental admission before filling the application form. Some of the basic eligibility criteria of UP PG medical 2020 is mentioned in the table below.
Aspirants must have passed MBBS/BDS course from the government or private colleges recognised by Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI) will be eligible for UP PG medical 2020 admission.
The domicile candidates of UP who have obtained admission under All India Quota (AIQ)/AIIMS/central government institutes outside the state can also apply for PG admission. Such aspirants need to provide a certificate from the principal/dean of the college mentioning that they were admitted under AIQ/AIIMS/central institute. Also, aspirants need to submit their UP domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.
Candidates who have completed one year of rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020, will be eligible to participate for admission process.
Medicos who have completed their undergraduate from the college/university outside Uttar Pradesh and is not a domicile of the state are only eligible for admission to private colleges.
Only aspirants who have filled UP PG medical application forms and have been NOC (No Objection Certificate) by Medical and Health Department, UP, and whose name is listed in the merit list will be eligible for UP PG medical admission 2020.
At last, aspirants need to secure minimum qualifying percentile in NEET PG 2020 as specified by NBE to pass the test. The category-wise NEET PG 2020 cutoff percentile and marks are mentioned in the table below.

DMET, UP will release the application form of UP PG medical/dental admission 2020 soon in online mode. The link for UP PG medical 2020 registration will be available on this page, when released. Only aspirants who fulfills the above-mentioned eligibility criteria can apply for UP PG medical admission till the last date. For admission to UP PG/MDS 2020, aspirants must mandatorily submit the application form.
UP PG medical 2020 application form can be filled in the following steps:

For successful submission of UP PG medical application form 2020, it is mandatory for aspirants to pay the application fee in online mode. It is also advised to take at least three to four printouts of confirmation page for future references.
The merit list of UP PG medical/dental 2020 will be released for each round separately. The authority will release UP PG medical 2020 merit list for round one after completion of registration process. Only candidates who have passed NEET PG exam and have filled application form on or before the last date will be listed in UP PG/MDS merit list 2020. DMET, UP will prepare UP PG medical merit list 2020 on the basis of scores obtained in NEET PG 2020.
UP PG medical 2020 merit list will include the names of candidates, state rank, roll number, NEET PG rank and scores, category, sub-category, weightage years and total weightage of marks. Based on the NEET PG All India Rank (AIR), aspirants will be called for counselling process.

DMET, Uttar Pradesh will conduct the counselling of UP PG medical 2020 in online mode. The counselling committee will organise three rounds of UP PG/MDS 2020 counselling process including mop-up round. Candidates who have been included in the state merit list will be eligible for UP PG medical 2020 counselling. The first round of UP PG medical 2020 counselling will be held in April, while round two will be conducted in April 28.
Using the login credentials provided at the time of registration, aspirants need to fill their choices of colleges as well as courses. Candidates can enter as many number of preferences as they want. On the basis of these preferences, NEET PG rank, availability of seats, reservation criteria and others aspirants will be granted admission to UP PG medical 2020. In case of vacant seats left, the authority will organise UP PG medical counselling 2020 for mop-up round.
