UPCAT Dental 2016 entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 15, 2016. Exam pattern of UPCAT Dental 2016 is decided by the conducting authority i.e. Association of Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The syllabus for UPCAT Dental 2016 will be equivalent to 10+2 examination and questions will be related to Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates seeking admission into dental programmes through UPCAT Dental 2016 entrance exam can check the complete exam pattern from this page.

 

 

UPCAT Dental 2016 Exam pattern at a glance: The candidates must qualify 10+2 exam from a recognised board, before taking the admission in BDS course. Aspirants can find below the complete details about UPCAT Dental 2016 exam pattern-

  • UPCAT Dental 2016 exam will have multiple choice objective type questions. Candidates will be required to select the most appropriate answer from the options provided

  • Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam

  • UPCAT Dental 2016 exam will have 200 questions with one mark each

  • Exam questions will be based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology

  • Candidates will get one mark for every correct answer and there will be no negative marking

Instructions regarding OMR sheet: Candidates can find below the important instructions related to UPCAT Dental 2016 exam OMR Sheet-

  • Answer sheet will have three parts. Part A should be filled in with ink pen

  • Part B and Part C should be filled in only with HB pencil

  • Candidates need to circle the correct answer and should not indicate the answers in a manner as instructed in the OMR instructions  

  • Answer sheets will be scanned by machine and scores will be calculated by computer

Only the registered candidates will be able to download the admit card and later appear in the UPCAT Dental 2016 exam. does 10th marks matter for neet

Greetings!

No your 10th marks is not taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination, it is your marks in class 12th which is taken into account for considering your eligibility for neet examination.

You can check the neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

  • You must have passed in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of
50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

  • To be eligible for Neet 2020 you need to be at least 17 years old or more by December 31st, 2020 .

  • There's no upper age limit for neet 2020.

  • There's no attempt limit for neet examination.

Ramani, your code will be 07. Code 07 says: Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Bio-technology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University / Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.

Himanshu, if you are from Karnataka, your code will be 03. Code 03 says: The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical test in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.

But if you are not from Karnataka, your code will be 02. Code 02 says: The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

It will be 05. Code 05 says: The first year of the three years degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.

Amar you need to choose the code 07 as code 07 is for aspirants who have passed any other examination which in scope and standard is equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects .


You are eligible for neet examination only if you have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.
