During filling of neet application we need to mention category.if i mention ews category .but i dont have ews certificate . instead of that i have ebc certificate .then what should do

Aditya kumar Student Expert 12th Dec, 2019
Hello kartik

  • If you belong to ebc category but you filled ews by mistake then you can correct it using correction window once it gets open.

  • So, you need not to worry at all as you will be able to change and thus correct the your category ,you can edit and make correction in your neet application form once the neet correction window is open .

  • National Testing Agency will open the correction window of NEET 2020 on 15th January and you will be able to make corrections till January 31, 2020.So , make sure that you make correction between these dates. And while using the correction window facility you should go through all the details and check every information so that you can make necessary correction if there's some mistake while filling the form as you can use correction window only once , so you need to be careful.

SEBC maratha are included under which category in Neet ?..

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 12th Dec, 2019

SEBC stands for Socio Economical Backward Class. This is a subdivision among the BC Category which has 16% reservation in Maharashtra. These are the Candidates who annual income is lesser than 8 lakhs including all sources. And SEBC is a state level reservation and not applicable across India. So NEET has only UR, EWS, OBC,SC,ST reservations listed in the application form. You have to select OBC-NCL during filling the NEET application form.
