UPMT 2016 - H.N.B. Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU), Dehradun coducts Uttarakhand Pre Medical Test (UPMT) for admission into undergraduate Medical and Dental programmes. UPMT 2016 is a state level examination scheduled to be conducted on May 15, 2016 for admission to approximately 195 MBBS and 100 BDS seats. UPMT 2016 EligibilityCandidatesmust have passed 10+2 or other equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregated marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Candidates should also have English as a mandatory subject in 12th or equivalent examination. Apart from educational qualification candidate should be between 17 to 25 years of age on or before December 31, 2016.

UPMT 2016 Exam Pattern - As per exam pattern of UPMT 2016, the duration of question paper will be 3 hours. There will be 200 multiple choice objective type questions with correct answer from Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Every correct answer will be rewarded as one mark and no negative marking for unanswered or wrong answer. Question paper will be in English and Hindi both medium. UPMT 2016 will be conducted at eight centres.


UPMT 2016 Application Form - Application form of UPMT 2016 is available in online mode from March 21. Candidates can fill the application form and pay the requisite examination fee till April 25, 2016. However, the last date to send filled in application form with payment proof to university is April 30, 2016.Candidates can pay application form fee  either  through Credit Card/ Debit Card/Net Banking or Bank challan in any Allahabad Bank branch. Application fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs.2000 and 1400 for SC/ST candidates.

UPMT 2016 Admit Card - Admit card of UPMT 2016 will be available online from May 5, 2016 . Candidates will also receive their admit card on the registered email address. If candidates do not receive their admit card on email they can also download it from the website with application number. In case of any discrepancy or unavailability of UPMT 2016 admit card, aspirants are advised to contact examination conducting authority immediately.


UPMT 2016 Result - Result of UPMT 2016 is scheduled to be declared on May 31, 2016. General category candidates are required to obtain at least 50% marks to qualify the exam. However, SC/ST/OBC category candidates would need 40% marks to be considered as qualified in the examination.

can I give neet exam after 12th class

Hello Aspirant,

Yes you can give NEET after 12th exam and the eligibility criteria to sit for the NEET exam is class 12 only so you are good to go. First go through the syllabus and try to complete the portion which is in your class 12 so that you will left with only class 11 for revision and deep learning.

Hope you are doing well.
WithTamil Nadustudents faring well in NEET, thecutofffor MBBS courses atgovernmentmedicalcollegesmight increase by more than 25 marks this year. Last year, thecut-off for governmentmedicalcollegesin OC category was 424. For BC and BCM it was 369 and 343.

There is no upper age limit till the Supreme Court passes its judgement on it. If no barrier occurs by Supreme Court then you can surely give the exam
