UPPGMEE 2015 Exam Pattern – State level Uttar Pradesh Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination will be conducted by King George’s Medical University, Lucknow for admission to post graduate programs in Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) courses. The written examintaion is expected to be held in third-fourth week of March, 2015.

In this article an overview of  UPPGMEE 2015 Exam Pattern  including question number, duration of exam, question pattern and marking scheme of the entrance exam.

 

UPPGMEE 2015 Paper Pattern

  • candidates have to take one paper and the duration of the exam will be 180 minutes.  
  • The question paper will carry 180 multiple choice questions.
  • The question paper wiill be divided in three parts- A, B, C consisting of 90, 90, and 10 MCQs respectively. 
  • Section  A and will carry 90 questions each from Pre and Para Clinical and Clinical subjects respectively. Last section, part C will carry 10  MCQs from the two given  paragraphs. 

 

UPPGMEE Exam TimingUPPGMEE 2015 Exam shall commence on the scheduled date from 10:00 am onwards and will end at 1:00 pm.

 

Number of Questions in UPPGMEE 2015 Exam – Candidates will be given a question paper consisting of 190 Questions.

 

Medium of Exam – All the questions in UPPGMEE 2015 Question paper shall be asked in English medium only.

 

Total Marks – The total marks allotted for UPPGMEE 2015 Exam is 200.

 

Marking Scheme – There is no system of negative marking. Each questions from Pre Clinical, Para Clinical and Clinical subjects carries one marks.  Each questions from part C  carries 2 marks.

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

Greetings!

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.
