UPPGMEE 2016 Counselling
UPPGMEE 2016 Counselling – The counselling of UPPGMEE 2016 will be conducted in three rounds beginning from March 27, 2016. The UPPGMEE 2016 counselling will be conducted by Director General Medical Education, UP Lucknow for allotment of 411 (350+61*) MD/MS/Diploma seats in various government medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh. The UPPGMEE 2016 counselling will be conducted in offline mode in which candidates have to report in person for attending the counselling process. The candidate shall be subjected to finger printing, photographing and analysis of handwriting, which will be compared with those taken at the time of UPPGMEE 2016 exam.
Candidates are required to bring their application form duly verified by the Dean/Principal of the University/College from where the candidate has done their MBBS/BDS at the time of UPPGMEE 2016 counselling. Candidates who get seat in counselling round 1 and 2 is also eligible for second and third UPPGMEE 2016 counselling for reshuffling of seats with candidates who were either absent or did not opt a seat in the first or second round of counselling.

Highlight of UPPGMEE 2016 Counselling:
At the time of UPPGMEE 2016 counselling candidate is required to carry following documents:
Signed the attendance sheet. Deposit counselling fees of Rs. 800 through online process. The detailed procedure for online deposition of counselling fee & Security Money will be intimated at the time of Notification of counselling on
Present all the original documents along with one photocopy as listed below.
UPPGMEE 2016 Admit Card
High School certificate as proof of date of birth
Mark Sheet of all professional examinations
MBBS/BDS passing out certificate or degree
Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate
Permanent/Provisional Registration Certificate (U.P. State/MCI/DCI)
Employer's “No Objection Certificate”, if employed SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped Certificate, if applicable. The OBC certificate must have been issued after 10-12-2015
Identification certificate as mentioned in the application
Verification sheet of the Principal/Dean of the College/University concerned
Two photographs attested by Principal with a clear stamp. Photographs must be the same as pasted on the application form
If found eligible the candidate will proceed to:
Submit the Receipt of Security Money of Rs. 30,000 deposited online in favor of “Director General Medical Education & Training, U.P.”. This will be returned to the candidate after takes admission.
The claim for refund of the security deposit will be forfeited if:-
(i) The candidate does not join the course after allotment
(ii) The candidate resigns the course after admission. This excludes resignation due to re-allotment in subsequent counselling UPPGMEE 2016
Candidate will be given registration document and allowed into the counselling hall where they shall study the seat matrix displayed on screen in different disciplines/ specialties/medical college/medical University. The seat allotment will be done by the Counselling Board on Merit Cum Option basis.
Candidate eligible for the reserved category will be given admission as per rules of the State government, applicable on the date of counselling
If candidate is absent in UPGMEE 2016 counselling or does not join any course in a college after allotment of the seat by the due date shall forfeit any right of admission on the basis of said counselling/allotment.
If a candidate is absent when her/his name is called for UPGMEE 2016 counselling and comes at a later time, they shall only be considered for a seat from among the seats available at the time of his/her appearance in the counselling
The option once exercised in the UPGMEE 2016 counselling cannot be altered under any circumstances
Every candidate who wishes to opt for a seat in the counselling shall present himself/herself before the counselling board. Their representative, through authority letter is not allowed to participate in the counselling
Candidates will be photographed and their identity checked at the time of counselling. If it does not match Candidates will be photographed and their identity checked at the time of counselling. If it does not match it will be counted as unfair means and their candidature will be cancelled.
UPPGMEE 2016 Mop Up Round Counselling:
In case a sufficient number of seats are left un-allotted at the end of the third round of counselling, then a ‘mop-up’ round of allotment will be organized at a notified date by DGME, UP. The purpose of the mop up round of seat allotment will be to ensure that there is no loss of PG seats in the current academic year. Seats will be offered to eligible candidates strictly according to their position in the merit list.
The terms and conditions for participation by candidates in this mop up round will be as follows:
Candidates who are admitted/allotted but not joined/resigned in any seat in UP will not be eligible for participation
Any candidate who has taken admission in any PG course in any medical college in India also will not be eligible for participation
The candidate must present himself/herself with all original documents
No request for re-allotment of seats already allotted in the first and second round will be entertained it will be counted as unfair means and their candidature will be cancelled

will the neet pg/mds cut off be reduced twice a year ...? has it ever happened before ...?
The cut offs are usually reduced when the no.of Candidates qualified for the first time are lesser than the no.of unfilled or vacant seats. I 2019 as well, DCI reduced the cut offs just like in the previous years. But there has been no mention of the cut offs being reduced twice in the same year. This year as well for NEET MDS 2020, the cut offs have been reduced by 18.935 percentage which is approximately 66 marks across all Categories. Now the new Cut offs are as follows:
General PWD: 26.065
And the revised marks are as follows:
General PWD: 204

Hi, I am from kerala and i got allotted in the 2nd round of counselling for DNB ENT in Secundrabad and i if i rejects and continue for 3rd round will i get Paediatric or ENT in the 3rd round in kerala or some other near states?
Since you have not given us your rank in your NEET UG we will assume you have done fairly to be allotted a DNB ENT seat in the second round of counseling. With MD Pediatrics in the 3rd round will be difficult but there is slight chance in ENT. DNB may feel like you are doing a doing a lesser program but gathering knowledge is the same for both. Your keenness to learn will be rather defining in both, also find out if the college in Secundrabad has a high patient volume – this is most important when it comes to learning.
What MCI says about MS ENT : The purpose of MS ENT is to standardize Otorhinolaryngology teaching at Post Graduate level throughout the country so that it will benefit in achieving uniformity in undergraduate teaching as well and resultantly creating competent ENT Surgeons with appropriate expertise.
What MCI says about DNB ENT: Practice the specialty of Otorhinolaryngology ethically keeping in mind the requirement of the patient, his community and people at large. Demonstrate sufficient understanding of basic sciences related to Otorhinolaryngology and be able to integrate such knowledge in his Clinical practice. Diagnose and manage majority of conditions in Otorhinolaryngology
So MS is about treating and surgery and DNB is about treating only. Now if surgery is important for you then you need to take a chance, if not DNB and later think about MCh if needed.
NB – If you ever intend to take up teaching then MS or MD is needed.
will there be neet pg in 2022 or not
MCI which stands for Medical Council of India has been replaced by NMC which stands for National Medical Council. And NMC did propose scrapping of NEET PG in gavour of a more friendly approach called NEXT. In this, Candidates will be considered for PG admissions based on the marks scored in their Graduation instead of an Entrance examination. And NMC has decided to allot 3 years to come up with the guidelines and implement it. This was proposed in 2019 and so we do not know whether it would be implemented in 2022 or not. We need to wait for official information regarding this.
Any foreign national seats in BHU ??
In Banaras Hindu University there are total 84 seats for MBBS with 4 seat separately from foreign national student, while if it is for PG course MD/MS so total 168 seats are available with 5 seats for foreign national.

is there any seat leaving bond for mp neet pg counselling
So seat leaving bond means if you take admission in any medical college and leave the next year then you will have to pay a certain amount assigned in seat leaving bond which is 5 lakhs for MP and you will also be ineligible for admission in medical colleges in next 3 years.Various states have different rules.
