WBJEE Medical 2016  Exam Pattern- The exam conducting authority of WBJEE Medical has declared the exam pattern of WBJEE Medical 2016. The exam paper pattern helps candidates to know the type of questions, syllabus, marking scheme, exam duration etc. Candidates who are applying for WBJEE Medical 2016 are advised to read the below mentioned WBJEE Medical 2016 Exam Pattern. WBJEE Medical 2016 Syllabus: WBJEE Medical 2016 will be based on the syllabus as prescribed by the exam conducting authority, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) in the official brochure.

 

Exam Duration:  WBJEE Medical 2016 is divided into two papers.Paper 1 , i.e. is of Biology will be conducted on day 1 for 2 hours & 30 minutes duration. Paper 2, i.e. of Physics and Chemistry will be conducted same for 2 hours duration.

 

Total number of questions: In both the papers, all questions will be Multiple Choice Questions, with four options against each question. The biology paper will consist of 115 questions, whereas Physics and Chemistry paper will consist of 40 questions from each.

Category 1:

  • Only one option is correct, correct response will yield 1 (one) mark

  • For incorrect response, 25% of full mark (1/4) would be deducted and

  • For more than one answer indicated against a particular question in the OMR sheet; the said answer will be treated as incorrect response/answer

Category 2:

  • Only one option is correct, correct response will yield 2 (two) marks.

  • For incorrect response, 25% of full marks (1/2) would be deducted and

  • For more than one answer indicated against a particular question in the OMR sheet; the said answer will be treated as incorrect response/answer

Category 3:

  • For more than one answer indicated against a particular question in the OMR sheet; the said answer will be treated as incorrect response/answer

  • For any combination of answers containing one or more incorrect responses, net mark awarded will be zero (0) and

  • For partially correct response without any incorrect marking:

Marks awarded = 2 X (no of correct responses) / (total no of correct options)

 

WBJEE Medical 2016 Mode of answering:  Questions must be answered on specially designed machine readable answer sheets (OMR Answer sheets). Answers are to be marked (bubbled) using Black/Blue ball point pen only on the same OMR Answer Sheets.

NoteIt is to be noted carefully that the candidates must fill in as well as bubble in all the relevant information including the Question Booklet No at the indicated places on bothOMR Answer Sheet and Attendance Sheetduring examination

 

West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam Medical, commonly known as WBJEE Medical will be conducted on July 20, 2016 for admissions to 85% MBBS and BDS seats in State and Central Government Medical and Dental Colleges by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE).

WBJEE Medical 2016 will continue to be gateway for admission to state medical colleges in the admission year 2016. The exam, which earlier stood cancelled as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016again comes into effect after the Centre brought an ordinance on NEETwhich put state entrance tests out of NEET ambit for 2016 admission year. However, NEET phase 2, applicable for admissions to 15 per cent all India quota in government colleges; and private and deemed institutions, is still open for all.

How much Marks to score in Neet to get admission in this college

Hello there!

Greetings!

I am extremely sorry to tell you but you haven't mentioned the name of the college for which you are interested in knowing marks required in neet to get a seat, let me know it so that I can help you with relevant and detailed informations. But generally if you belong to general category then you need to  get at least 550 marks or more to get  a seat in government medical college.  If you want to get a seat in top colleges like Maulana Azad Medical College then you should target at least 600+ marks,  also cut off marks for Medical Colleges keeps changing depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc. So , prepare well for neet.

How can I prepare for neet exam in 15 months

Dear Aspirant,

15 months are more than enough for you to get into your dream medical college. The most important thing you need is just be consistent throughout your journey. Prepare everyday and with a proper fixed time table.

You should also familiarize yourself with the syllabus and prepare with the pace which suits your need and do not depend upon your school's pace.

Then go through all the NCERT textbooks and if you can afford, then buy some coaching material or better you should join one coaching as it will help you with the consistency part.

which book is best for preparing neet exam

For Physics, along with NCERT, study Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma and Objective Physics By DC Pandey.
For Chemistry-
  • NCERT chemistry text books for class 11 and 12
  • Practise books by VK Jaiswal (Inorganic), MS Chauhan (Organic) and N Awasthi (Physical)

For biology,
NCERT books, these will help you to clear the basics. You can also study Objective Biology by Dinesh, Biology Vol1 and Vol2 by Trueman.

neet registration date 2020 will start when

NEET 2020 will be held on May 3 in pen and paper-based mode.
Registration for NEET 2020 will be started on December 2, 2019 and the last date is December 31, 2019. And also te last date to submit the registration fee.
The correction window for the registered applications will be opened in January, 2020 (particular date not discloses yet).

In NEET For which chapters of biology the questions may come from other than NCERT ??

Hello dear aspirant .

It is very tough to predict that from which chapter questions will be out of NCERT Books.Most of the questions are asked from NCERT books as of now nearly 85-90%. It is advised that you should study NCERT Book thoroughly as much as you can. It will be sufficiently helpful for you..
