WBJEE Medical 2016 Important Dates- The revised examination date of WBJEE Medical 2016 has been announced by the exam conducting authority, i.e. West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) on May 30, 2016. The WEBJEE Medical 2016 exam is scheduled to be held on July 20 for admission to undergraduate Medical & Dental programmes offered under 85% state quota seats in various government and private medical colleges. The important dates of WBJEE 2016 medical exam related application, admit card, result, counselling, etc. has been announced. Candidates can check WBJEE Medical 2016 important dates from the table given below as declared by the exam conducting authority.


WBJEE Medical 2016 will be conducted on July 20, 2016 for admission to as many as 2450 undergraduate seats in 22 Medical and Dental colleges of West Bengal.Candidates were advised to read the eligibility criteria before filling up the application form of WBJEE Medical 2016.


WBJEE Medical 2016 exam will be conducted on the basis of syllabus as prescribed by the exam conducting authority, WBJEEB. WBJEE Medical 2016 will be divided into two papers, one for Biology subject consisting of 150 questions and second for Physics and Chemistry consisting of 50 questions each.

WBJEE Medical 2016 will continue to be gateway for admission to state medical colleges in the admission year 2016. The exam, which earlier stood cancelled as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016again comes into effect after the Centre brought an ordinance on NEETwhich put state entrance tests out of NEET ambit for 2016 admission year. However, NEET phase 2, applicable for admissions to 15 per cent all India quota in government colleges; and private and deemed institutions, is still open for all.

I am extremely sorry to tell you but you haven't mentioned the name of the college for which you are interested in knowing marks required in neet to get a seat, let me know it so that I can help you with relevant and detailed informations. But generally if you belong to general category then you need to  get at least 550 marks or more to get  a seat in government medical college.  If you want to get a seat in top colleges like Maulana Azad Medical College then you should target at least 600+ marks,  also cut off marks for Medical Colleges keeps changing depending upon several factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks scored by students, toughness level of exam etc. So , prepare well for neet.


How can I prepare for neet exam in 15 months

Dear Aspirant,

15 months are more than enough for you to get into your dream medical college. The most important thing you need is just be consistent throughout your journey. Prepare everyday and with a proper fixed time table.

You should also familiarize yourself with the syllabus and prepare with the pace which suits your need and do not depend upon your school's pace.

Then go through all the NCERT textbooks and if you can afford, then buy some coaching material or better you should join one coaching as it will help you with the consistency part.

For Physics, along with NCERT, study Concepts of Physics by H. C. Verma and Objective Physics By DC Pandey.
For Chemistry-
  • NCERT chemistry text books for class 11 and 12
  • Practise books by VK Jaiswal (Inorganic), MS Chauhan (Organic) and N Awasthi (Physical)

For biology,
NCERT books, these will help you to clear the basics. You can also study Objective Biology by Dinesh, Biology Vol1 and Vol2 by Trueman.


neet registration date 2020 will start when

NEET 2020 will be held on May 3 in pen and paper-based mode.
Registration for NEET 2020 will be started on December 2, 2019 and the last date is December 31, 2019. And also te last date to submit the registration fee.
The correction window for the registered applications will be opened in January, 2020 (particular date not discloses yet).

In NEET For which chapters of biology the questions may come from other than NCERT ??

It is very tough to predict that from which chapter questions will be out of NCERT Books.Most of the questions are asked from NCERT books as of now nearly 85-90%. It is advised that you should study NCERT Book thoroughly as much as you can. It will be sufficiently helpful for you..
