WBPG MAT 2015 Counselling procedure is scheduled to begin from March 27, 2015. The procedure involves seat allotment to qualifying candidates as per their rank/merit and class category for MD and MS courses. Candidates can check below for the scheduled events and the important dates of WBPG MAT 2015 Counselling process below in this article. Last year, total of three WBPG MAT Counselling rounds were conducted to offer admission for open seats and state government sponsored seats.

According to official, for the year 2013, admission for nearly 350 seats available at 16 participating institutes/colleges. According to information based on previous brochure and seat allotment done during counselling round, important highlights are shared below in bullet points-

 

Important Features of WBPG MAT 2015 Counselling

  • Admission is offered for open seats and state government sponsored seats through three counselling rounds. Information on seat matrix for both courses will be provided by WBUHS prior WBPG MAT 2015 Counselling.
  • Admission to the “All India Quota‟ seats are offered only to candidates selected through All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination.
  • Admission is offered under the following 2 categories- Open Seats and State Government Sponsored Seats.
  • Cutoff percentage of marks for candidates belonging to unreserved and OBC category is 50% and 45%. However, SC/ST candidates securing minimum of 40% in the entrance exam are eligible to participate in the counselling rounds. Counselling process will have the following events-payment of counselling fees offline through generation of e-challan for new registration, display of seat matrix, choice filling, choice locking, choice processing, publication of result for the applicable round, online reporting at the allotted

The NEET PG 2020 eligibility criteria for aspirants appearing in the postgraduate medical examination has been listed below.

Candidates must possess a valid MBBS degree from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI), and have an MBBS degree or provisional certificate to that effect.
Completion of the rotatory internship on or before March 31, 2020.
Provisional or permanent medical registration certificate issued by MCI or a State Medical Council. This must be carried on the day of the exam and during admission.
Candidates who have studied/qualified MBBS from Jammu & Kashmir are not eligible for All India 50% Quota seats. Only candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to study MBBS from Medical Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible for All India 50% quota seats. Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring this.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. To be eligible for NEET PG, you should be able to complete your 1 year Mandatory Internship ateast by March 31st,  2020. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges .........in neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

Greetings!

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.
