WBPG MAT 2015 Merit List- Theexam conducting authority West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS) prepares the WBPG MAT 2015 Merit List on the basis of marks scored by candidates in the entrance exam. Qualifying candidates of West Bengal Post Graduate Medical Admission Test Exam as per their merit/rank and class category will be offered admission for MD and MS courses. The exam, which is expected to be held in second-third week of January in paper pencil mode, not offers admission for MDS course.

Important feature of WBPG MAT 2015 Merit List

  • After result declaration, WBPG MAT 2015 Merit List containing names and roll number of qualifying candidates will be arranged in order of decreasing marks/rank allotted to candidates.
  • To qualify the entrance exam, candidates belonging to unreserved category are required to score minimum of 50% in the written test. However, a relaxation of 5% and 10% is given to OBC and SC/ST candidates respectively.

The merit will mention the rank of candidates in two separate “Open” and “in- service” categories.

  • After result declaration, candidates can download the online score card to know total mark scored by them, their position in the combined merit list, and their caste wise status and status rank.
  • The provisional merit list will be displayed at the notice-board of the university. But, the offline score card will not dispatched to none of qualifying candidates.
  • Inter se merit of candidates will be decided on the basis of lesser number of incorrect answers given by a candidate. If the tie persists after the application of the said condition, the candidate older by age will be preferred for higher position in the WBPG MAT 2015 Merit List.

WBPG MAT 2015 Resultis expected to be declared in second week of February, 2016 in online mode. Seat allotment will be done through counselling process, which will tentatively start in first week of March, 2015.

Dear Sreenivasan, NBE hasn't released NEET PG official notification and schedule yet. As of now, all we have is a tentative schedule. The official notification will be released tentatively during the 1st or 2nd weeks of November. how many phsically handicapped seats qouta in M.D.S in government Colleges neet pg M.D.S

hello aspirant,

there are total 1352 seats are available in government colleges in india for M.D.S. however as per the rules of government of india 3% seats are reserve for physically handicapped candidate, (only for physically handicapped with the locomotory disorders and that too with disability of lower limbs between 50% to 70% as per MCI regulation) . so total 40 seats are for physically handicapped.

You will be happy to know that there's no minimum percentage which needs to be obtained by medical graduates to be eligible for neet pg . To be eligible  for neet pg  medical graduates are required to possess Indian Medical Council Act 1956 recognised MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate. Candidates are required to mandatorily have permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification which is to be issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC) and candidate must complete their one year internship on or before March 31, 2020 to be eligible for Neet pg 2020. when I open any college profile, there is written - (Exams accepted Neet UG,Neet PG. etc) what does that mean?

Dear Utsav, that actually means the College in particular has MBBS, MD,MS courses and the admissions to these courses are through NEET UG, NEET PG,etc. Apart from MBBS, courses like BDS, Ayush, Veterinary sciences also conduct admissions through NEET. In some States, courses like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy also accept NEET score. So, if you are searching for any Medical College, this information showing up is pretty normal.


How many attempts are allowed for NEET PG exams?

Dear Priya, there is no upper age limit for appearing for NEET PG and also there is no cap on the number of times one can appear for NEET PG. As long as you fulfil the eligibility crtieria, you are eligible to appear for NEET PG. Having said that, with amendments to NMC Bill, in the next 3 years, NEET PG may be scrapped.
