What are the expected dates of NEET 2021?
NTA generally conducts NEET examination on the first Sunday of May but previously due to the COVID crisis it was postponed thrice. At last in the previous year, NEET was conducted on September 13 for 15.97 lakh registered candidates out of which around 13.66 lakh aspirants appeared in the exam. As CBSE/State boards are scheduled to be conducted in the month of May this year. It is highly expected that NTA will hold the NEET 2021 after the completion of the board exams in the month of June - July.

Know about the NEET exam
As of now, NTA will conduct NEET 2021 in offline mode for granting admission to 80,055 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 50,720 AYUSH and 525 veterinary seats. Admission to 1,899 AIIMS MBBS and 249 JIPMER MBBS seats will also be granted through NEET 2021 exam.
Previously NEET was conducted for around 15.97 lakh registered students, in which 13.66 lakh have appeared and 7.71 lakh have qualified the exam. No the registration dates of neet 2021 have not been released yet. However it is expected that the registration process would start in past week of January. Students are advised to keep an eye on the official website. Same is the case with kcet 2021 registration dates and it is also expected to start in last week of January.

I am extremely sorry to tell you dear but if you want to become an eye doctor i. e ophthalmologist, then you cannot become it without qualifying Neet examination.
This is because,
To become an ophthalmologist need to do MD or Ms ophthalmology and for that you need to first be an MBBS graduate and admission in MBBS is through Neet examination . Thus,there is no way without qualifying Neet.
Here's a brief of how you can become an ophthalmologist :-
* For becoming a ophthalmologist , you need to become a doctor first and for that you need to do MBBS
*Admission in Mbbs is through NEET examination, So, along with your 10+2 keep preparing for Neet examination
* Pass your 12th with at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination if you belong to general category , or at least 45% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to ph category or at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st to be eligible for neet.
*Appear for Neet examination and qualify it
*Then attend counselling and then on the basis of marks or Rank obtained by you in NEET examination you will get a seat for MBBS in a medical college .
* After the completion of MBBS, you need to appear for PG entrance examination, currently, some of the PG entrance examinations include:-
