He/She must also hold a provisional or permanent registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or State Medical Council (SMC).

Admission to MBBS and AYUSH - For MP UG medical admissions, candidates must appear and qualify for NEET and fulfil the eligibility criteria.
Admission to PG courses - Graduates must meet the eligibility standards and clear NEET PG to get a seat into Madhya Pradesh PG medical admission. While, the seats in AIIMS, Bhopal are granted on the grounds of INI CET.
Admission to DM course - Only NEET SS qualified graduates can apply for courses such as DM.
Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Madhya Pradesh conducts admission to the MP MBBS and AYUSH admissions for state quota seats. While the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) grants admission to AIQ seats. It must be noted that 15% MBBS seats in the list of government medical colleges in MP are reserved under AIQ. While the remaining 85% are reserved under the state quota. For admission to 85% state quota seats, students must fulfill the NEET domicile criteria for Madhya Pradesh.
Likewise, for PG medical admissions, 50% seats in the best medical colleges in MP are reserved under AIQ and the rest 50% under state quota. It is to be noted that in the admission to state quota seats, candidates should be a domicile of the state.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts NEET once every year in a pen-paper mode across the country. As per the exam pattern of NEET, a total of 180 multiple choice questions are asked from the NEET syllabus, which includes topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from class 11 and 12.
NEET PG is conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE) for admissions in top medical colleges in MP for PG medical courses such as MD and MS.
