Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University Jabalpur is a government institution established in the year 2009. It was established under the Madhya Pradesh Act as a State University. NDVSU Jabalpur imparts education in the stream of Science and Medical and Allied Sciences. The institute offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. NDVSU Jabalpur courses includes a diploma, B.F.Sc, B.V.Sc, M.V.Sc and Ph.D in full-time mode. NDVSU Jabalpur has three constituent colleges at Jabalpur, Mhow and Rewa. It also has a Wildlife Forensic and Health and Animal Biotechnology centre along with five Veterinary Polytechnic colleges. NDVSU Jabalpur admission is based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination.

College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry, Jabalpur was established to impart education in different branches of veterinary and fisheries and allied sciences.
